Can you fuck your liver up even after mild alcohol consumption? I never drink but this week I decided to have a go with a glass or two of wine every day
only abstaining for the day I had to take ibuprofen (600mg) for my lower back pain, and another day for a single lorazepam pill for anxiety.

Yesterday I felt a dull painful ache for a few hours under the right side of my abdomen where the liver is and I'm afraid I may have fucked my liver up by not waiting longer between the time I had the alcohol and the pills.

Ibuprofen can fuck up your stomach or kidneys, but it won't affect your liver. (Paracetamol/Acetaminophen/Tylenol does). The liver is usually pretty resilient; while no amount of alcohol is harmless, if that's the only thing going on here, I think you'll be fine. This is not to say that there may not be something else going on - not necessarily with your liver.

I think you'll be fine bro. That doesn't mean start binge drinking, in fact tone that shit down maybe a couple glasses days apart to start. BUT drink LOTS of water, in general. That helps.

>stomach

It was right upper quadrant (RUQ) pain and it was a dull ache so it's probably the liver from what I'm reading. I just don't understand how it could affect me so easily since I almost never drink and rarely take any medication aside from those pills which was the 3rd of 4th time I took them this year.
I do smoke a pack a day. Am lactose intolerant. And coffee can sometimes irritate me but that's it.

Drinking water isn't the problem. I would actually call myself overhydrated most of the time since I'm OCD about having a glass of water constantly.

No you don't. The live can tank irregular acolhol consumption without any problems. What fucks you up is chronic use and never giving it a rest. As a rule of thumb , permanently damaging your body with any substance requires either a massive overdose or regular consumption over a long time.

I'm not saying your liver isn't fucked, I'm just saying it's definitely not fucked because of the alcohol.

Then what the fuck else could it be?

Ibuprofren and alcohol both fuck up your stomach it was probably that.

Hepatitis C?

But it was something acute right? Since I rarely drink and rarely take those meds? Or did I cause permanent damage? The pain seems to have passed. It only lasted for a few hours.

oh my god you pussy maybe don't drink cheap red wine there is a good reason they call it "rotgut" it's probably what gave you a headache in the first place. and try aleve instead of ibuprofren. Just don't drink alcohol or maybe mix something with ginger ale or ginger beer for your tummy.
