I am almost 40 and I realized I don't like people or at least i don't like like the 95% of people are. I have no friends and no gf. How can I convice my self I can live better alone and not feel some sort of deep sorrow for not being married or having children?
Just cope with life like everybody else.Drugs, media, porn and etc...

Unfortunately, you can't convince yourself you're better off alone, so you need to fix all the shit that's making it hard for you.You can trick yourself into thinking you've convinced yourself, but it'll be a cope that you will eventually not be able to keep up.You can find temporary solace in distractions like hobbies or whatever, but it doesn't work because you won't actually be fulfilled by things like this, which will be much harder to deal with in a few years than at 40.
