I'm gonna make it as condensed as I can. Over the past year, i've been very active in my Church, and made quite a bit of friends. Three of these friends i've gone through Catechism(Orthodox) with and really got to know them. We've had a lot of meaningful time together.The four of us are the leadership of a local program helping struggling uni students. As time went on, one of them (one guy, two girls) started talking to me less and less, which i'm fine with. Eventually he only ever contacts me if he needs a ride or something has to get done. He's said some shitty things to me in front of others but I eventually got over it and forgave him.A few days ago, we were all at a Church dinner. In front of clergy, friends etc. The guy wasn't talking to me much, his nonverbals were pretty condescending but whatever. However, the two girls for God knows why, thought it'd be funny to go on this shit flinging run in front of people talking about how short men give them the ick and they said I was comparable to a rat, to my fucking face. I'm not making this up.The same people I busted my ass for with work and used countless time and gas money for don't even have the audacity to give me basic respect in front of my peers. Now i've paranoid and just ill for the past few days wondering what everyone else thinks. If people this close to me are willing to say and do this, what the fuck else do other people think?How to cope and not rope? I seriously, seriously hope they're better people than they seemed. It's not in my power to change them though. Shits fucked.

Kepe in mind that most Orthobros are barging into sworn in ethnic clubs where the local families congregate, and while they will graciously recieve you and I thnk be genuinely open towards you as well since they have to as Christians, tolerance towards outsiders may only go so far. Honestly, this whole trend of picking the fucking Orthodox Greek/Slav owned churches out of all polaces for a christlarp is so incredibly stupid.
