A woman cannot accept her subservience to a man unless she can trust him with his own life, then her own. If she is more competent than he in basic 'confidence' scenarios, it will only make her lose respect and attraction.

I agree. Almost anyone would lose confidence if they are getting negative or neutral reactions. Put the same personality on a good looking guy and the reactions magically change to positive, and therefore they are encouraged and that's what we call 'confidence'.

What a lot of people call confidence is really just indifference. Being able to accept those negative reactions without falling to pieces.

The ideal is someone who is so competent that they feel they can close their eyes and turn off their brain and feel completely safe be absolutely certain that their man will lead and handle the situation
