I’m balding at 19, my uncle went bald around my age and after combing my hair I noticed that the front part of my hair is thinning out. I give my hair another year until I’ll have to go fully bald or get a wig. Meanwhile all of my friends have perfect heads of hair except one. I’m also unsurprisingly a virgin and if I go bald this will kill my chances of ever getting a girlfriend. what do I do anons?
probably not what you want to hear but just shave it off. it's not preferable, i know, but a shaved head is just a better look than a head that is visibly thinning. it displays confidence and shows you are willing to accept the process, while a thinning head comes off as you desperately clinging onto something that will ineivtably fade away (which is true). even if you won't attract all the girls in the world, you'll do better accepting yourself with a shaved head than not.it's easier said than done, i'm sorry you're going through this. just know you're worth more than your physical appearance
>>34646162fpbp>>34644950I went bald at the same age and started shaving/buzzing at around the age of 20-21. When I was 25 or so I tried a hair system, and after a week my family said they thought it looked better than my shaved look. Despite the positive reaction, I stopped wearing the system after 2 weeks because it was gross and sleeping with it felt weird.Everyone likes hair, but make no mistake, a man's ability to impress women depends on many different things.
>>34646162I probably would but I’ve got a bad head shape that would look silly if I went bald.>>34646204With those hair systems is it like a weave where it’s stuck to your head for good or like in cartoons where you have to glue it on each morning?
>>34646204>Everyone likes hair, but make no mistakeYeah, I do shave/buzz my head very often and it's quite sad how much people laugh at me or just openly mock me. For reference, I look like pic rel. I'm not balding though, it's a personal choice due to very specific reasons.
>>34646224I'm not sure how weaves work but with systems you glue it to your head and wear it 24/7. Every 2 weeks you take it off to clean and then glue it back on. If you wanted something that you could take on and off each night, look into wigs. The tradeoff with wigs is that they are noticeable, while systems are practically undetectable if styled well.My ultimate take on this stuff is that looksmaxxing is overrated and it heavily contributed to my depression. Wearing a hair system is a judgement call, your impressing others at the cost of self esteem and mental fortitude.
>>34644950how's your trust fund?
>>34646341This might be my best option desu. How did you get one and how long do the hairpieces last before you need a new one?
>>34646559>How did you get oneThere's a bunch of ways to do it, but a good start is to find a barber/stylist who knows how to do systems and become their client. You can book a consultation with them where they'll explain how it all works. A lot of stylists will post their work on instagram so looking through them can be a good way to find people who know what they're doing.
