I'm autistic and want to try dating but I can't sleep in a bed with another person in it. Honestly it's so bad I can't sleep if my cat is on the bed with me. And nothing really seems to make it better, any idea how to fix this?

Rather than a double or kingsize bed, push two single beds together. Crossover for sex and return to your own mattresses after.

Tell me about it. Autism is pure suffering in a relationship, and they don't come easily for us. Need time to recharge my social battery and women don't understand that you need time alone.

I enjoy having sex but even when I'm hard for hours it can be difficult to finish because because every time she orgasms it's distracting, throws me off and I have to mentally start over.

I just sleep alone. It's the only way I can stay sane.

Plenty of couples have separate bedrooms.

It helped me to get a 180x200 cm size bed and just both sleep at the very opposite edges.
