I'm questioning myself and my gender(ftm questioning sometimes, other times I'm fine being a girl), and I want to slowly become more masculine through stuff that I can change and revert back, if I realize it's not what I want. So I'm not looking for advice like any surgeries or taking T. I want advice on how to become more masculine. Everyone on /r9k/ told me I was better off just being a tomboy since I'll never be a man, even though I explained to them I don't want to always be a man, so I'm asking here instead to see if y'all have any advice on how to be more masculine.
>>34652662>how to be more masculine.Get things done.Set goals, and achieve them. No excuses. You can start as small as you like.
lol
>>34652662Gender is not a performance. You're either a man or you're a woman. You can swap them like wearing different shirts. That is not how reality works. The only reason why some people think it's possible is because they have a very low sense of self identity to begin with, they don't exactly know who they are as an identity or person, they don't know their own wants or their own needs or their own goals or their own role in life so they form this habit of performing as things they are not to fit in. Then at some point they think they can do this sort of thing with gender and it causes problems for themselves. Just be a tomboy. Just be a female who wears jeans, wears hoodies, likes to keep their hair short whatever. Burp and cuss like a sailor, pick up a traditionally masculine hobby or two, it's whatever.
>>34652686You can't swap them like wearing different shirts*What you need to work on is solidifying your own self identity. Normal people do not factor in their own gender when they introspect on their own lives, the self is something that is beyond flesh and bone. So you need to think harder
rotate the tires on your car without crushing the outer rocker or your floor pan
>>34652678Okay thank you!! >>34652686>>34652689Okay, well I'm asking how to be more masculine! So that I am a tomboy, hoping that'll scratch the itch I want. >>34652690So advice is get into cars?
>>34652703no, i mean do something heavy and dirty that will probably hurt your back and do a few thousand in damages to your car and call a youtube video a fucking nigger for not clearly showing jack pointsit's not about the car, it's about the harrowing experience of maintaining the mundane and stop asking so many questions, you acting like a bitch rn lil bro
>>34652721Oh okay lol
>>34652721>it's about the harrowing experience of maintaining the mundaneThis. It's about the story and the brotherhood.
>>34652662Here is how you be more masculine:1. If you ever get upset by anything just focus on your breathing.2. Work hard every day of your life, even if you get no gratitude or recognition3. Be loyal to your word, and be willing to give your life for what is right4. Find a woman and make her happy at your own expense5. Also get her pregnant and make your kids happy at your own expense6. Lift heavy weights in the gym. Optional: shorten your lifespan with roids to lift even heavier weights.7. Pick an area of expertise and be the absolute best at it, and do it every day of your life. It doesn't matter how crap it is. If you are selling cars then memorize every make and model and its engine and mileage per gallon and all the other crap. If you are selling hot dogs then learn to make art with the ketchup and mustard. You have to find some way to distinguish yourself or you will fall behind in life.8. Sometimes you can do everything right and still fail. Perhaps your wife will divorce you after you studied at university and got a good job and worked overtime for years. You will just have to accept that your labors are not yours and that others have rights you don't, so be stoic about it.
>ftmthis is not a serious thread>how to he more manlylift weights, do other hard shit
>>34652662you can't bro, sorry. every mtf is a huge basedboy who only wants to talk about feelings and how they're a plus sized man or whatever.but if you insist: don't wish for easier circumstances, but become stronger. just rise to the occasion.if you say you're going to do something, do it. figure it out while you do it, but you need to do it.don't talk about your feelings all the time. don't feel sorry for yourself. while venting to someone or yourself, only speak briefly and then say something like it is what it is and toughen up.don't know if any of it'll work because even ftms on hormones are huge pussies. and the ones who try to be manly end up as cartoons like black studs.the OP pic is peak mental retardation by the way. deconstructing reality is not possible and that's just subversive mongoloid shit. looks as dumb as proana. girls are extremely girly specially when they're trying to be dudes. you think any dude would post some bull like that?
>>34652662You're just a tomboy, pls be my gf
>>34652662You're not a man unless you're 6 ft have 6 pack abs and make 6 figures+
>>34652662Based on your response to what /r9k/ said, I think you have a misunderstanding of what a tomboy is. A tomboy is just a woman who likes and does manly things. Heck, a tomboy can even be a woman who just doesn't do girly things and likes sports and/or cars. The point of being a tomboy is that you don't always want to be a man. You just want to act manly & like manly things. That is what a tomboy is. Working out is a big part of being more masculine. I don't recommend taking any drugs, even ones that aren't considered permanent. Liking cars and watching sports helps, but if you want to go more manly, knowing how to fix cars or do home repair & playing sports is even more manly, but just knowing basic car maintenance like how to change your fluids does fine.>>34652678Very manly, being independent and paying for your own stuff is manly. Not asking for help but knowing how to look up information on your own and solve your own problems is manly. Most importantly though, is you can't get into an activity if you don't actually enjoy it. So before going into the deep end of a hobby, look at it first and see if you like it. Most men only learn how to fix something when they need to have it fixed and we do so because it's not manly to pay someone else to do it for us, however we do realize when something is too far outside of our scope and requires an expert instead of trying to do it ourselves and fuck it all up or get hurt trying to do so. (And sometimes we do it anyway and get injured or worse.) If a fix is a simple Youtube tutorial away, great. As for being better off being a tomboy instead of FtM. I think if you're fine with being a girl sometimes, that's great. You can absolutely and more easily be a woman who likes dudebro things. You'll also be accepted more by people that way. If you go the trans route, you'll only be accepted in those circles and nowhere else, people fake being an ally all the time just so they don't get judged by the loud minority.
YOU WILL NEVER BE A MAN AND MEN WILL NEVER SEE YOU AS ONE OF THEM.
If you settle for being a tomboy, you'll only suffer half as much as regular troons
