I have a job interview tomorrow for a retail position. I know the standards for these kinds of jobs aren't incredibly high, but I'm literally shaking at the thought of the 1-to-1 interview.I'm very socially awkward and don't do well when I'm put on the spot and have to answer questions immediately. I've also just found out that I'll be doing a group assessment straight afterwards, as if the interview wasn't nerve-wracking enough.Does anyone have any advice? What interview questions should I revise beforehand? What's the best way to approach them? And how can I avoid making a fool of myself during the group assessment?

They give great ideas on how you can flexibly answer. I am in medical engineering, so I had to tweak his methods a bit, since I'm not a business person at all.Best way to approach is be yourself, be friendly, and show interest to the job. Genuine curiosity and willingness to learn is sometimes much more important than confidence and experience, unless it's a management position.As for anxiety, try some interview subliminals. Or before you rest, just imagine yourself smiling and getting along with everyone in the interview. I guarantee you'll forget the nerves once you're actually talking.
