Everyone should try LSD at least once. Change my mind.
Most people just don't need to experience what LSD can show them. They can reach the same conclusions about empathy and ego while they're sober.
>>34655733There is something about LSD that you can never fully put in to words. Experiencing it is the only way to truly understand. Kinda like trying to describe what "seeing" is to a blind person, it's just impossible.
>>34655740Sure, but people can experience the ineffable while sober as well.I love LSD and have had some great experiences with it, but I don't think anyone needs to do it. Spirituality and therapy can show people the same things, often through a much clearer lens.
>>34655826There is absolutely no way you can experience anything even close to what LSD does to you with out taking it.
Don't know how to get it, so won't try itSimple
>>34656032You can get the insight without the temporary psychosis.I don't think everyone has to take a trip that I enjoyed just because I enjoyed it. That would be idiotic.LSD isn't truly medicinal enough for me to agree with OP, to put it very mildly.
>>34655715I agree even if just to experience psychosis if they are a really anxious tripper it gives u a perspective outside of your sense of self
After a trip on mushrooms completely got rid of my anxiety and depression I've been interested in looking more into the psychedelics rabbit hole
>>34656066>be me, USA Government>use LSD for wide range of uses, many positive for the public in controlled settings.>ban the substance
>>34656159That's all well and good, but I've seen how LSD can negatively affect other people first-hand. I don't think most people are equipped to use LSD as a therapeutic tool or that it's really the right tool for most people who need therapy to begin with.
>>34656162LSD should be legalised for medical use. Saying there are no medicinal benefits is just straight up wrong and ignorant. Having done LSD 20+ times, I've never had a "bad trip", I've had shitty experiences that I've learnt from, I've only ever came out of a trip feeling better than I went in. I've seen people have "bad trip" and I've calmed them down and they had a great time afterwards, just a bump in the road. Going in to the unknown is a scary thing and isn't for everyone but that doesn't mean everyone shouldn't at least peak behind the curtain. >I don't think most people are equipped to use LSD as a therapeutic tool or that it's really the right tool for most people who need therapy to begin with.I don't think the general public are equipped to deal with a multitude of substances abuse is rife everywhere so that excuse is old. The massive amount of anecdotal evidence suggests that psychedelics can be used to to great effect in the treatment of mental problems, especially with a professional therapist.
>>34655715I tried it and it didn't change my life. Therefore, I have changed your mind.
>>34656246Why does everyone that has tried LSD hide a deep secret that they think other people can't notice?
>>34655715honestly i tried it and while it is my favorite drug the hype psychonauts give it seems kind of juvenile. i had a lot of neat insights during it, like that there was a kind of oneness to nature and that there is a weight to every minute, but desu i feel like you can understand this with meditation and other spiritual shit. most of the trip was just me laughing and joking with friends and that was what made it so cool, plus some of the observations.the process of thinking felt much clearer and i got some observations, and one of them was this: the view of psychedelics gets skewed in two extremes. one is that you'll lose it if you have a "bad trip," and the other is that you'll change your life and be born anew if you have a good one. both are wrong, and in both cases you're not giving your own, sober mind the credit it deserves.
>>34655715I had fun but life would have been just fine without it.
>>34655715How do I find lsd?
>>34656913My thoughts exactly. I find the cult-like insistence that it's a wonder drug to be pants on head retarded.
>>34656903>in both cases you're not giving your own, sober mind the credit it deserves.I agree wholeheartedly. I think that a lot of people sell themselves short and give LSD the credit that they owe themselves.
>>34657050Feds will sell it to you on TOR.
That's an extremely accurate picture.
i’m tripping this saturday. my friends all like to take mushrooms. i have some lsd. i’m torn between aligning our trips exactly by all taking the same thing. and also my vast preference for lsd. lsd is great
>>34657099The chromatic aberration effect irl is a very strange and enjoyable visual.
>>34655715>Everyone should try LSD at least once.>Change my mind.Psilocybin is a better choice.
>>34655715"Everyone" is putting it a bit strongly. If you have a family history of psychosis, it's probably a bad idea.
>>34656130How much did you take? I've tried mushrooms twice but all I've gotten out of it is feeling a different kind of high basically.
>>34656686They don't. If there is some secret, it was already there before they took acid.
>>34655715it promotes and progresses mental illness and was a government psyop to begin with
>>34655715I take 25ug on most dates I go on because it's the only way i can seem interesting and inquisitive. Never actually went on a macrodose lmoa
>>34658545That's batshit insane lmao
>>34658551Honestly not really,LSD is really great with bringing out the truth within you. I used to microdose before important Tech career decisions (such as large deals) because it really brought out "my game" side. I took LSD numerous times, in my perspective its something that makes you more connected to your "real" side and that can be perfect for vunerable moments and avoiding the awkward fake mask most people usually put up (and that women can sense immediately)Although that vunerability is dangerous, one time I took it on my way to work while transiting, worst decision ever. Made me really freaked out watching the life machine cog and seeing the depression of transit. It should be done carefully
>>34655715Ok where do I get it
>>34658685>>34657085
>>34655715i took 200ug with a friend for my first time at the forest of my campus. we hallucinated dogs chasing us and we ran for like 50 meters but it felt like hours. the trees were moving and shit. it literally changed my life, after that lsd trip i became a different man, differentiated from the herd
>>34658551It's not that aggressive a dose but 15-20ug would probably be the sweet spot. Just enough to get some stimulant effects + loosen up the brain
Also disagreeing merely to counter your stance on "everyone"-the mentally ill-mental retardation-criminal population-youth/developing brains
