is there any way i can completely get rid of my facial hair?
im not trans, but i hate having a beard, it always feels super uncomfy but when i try to shave my skins so easily irritated that no matter what i do it gets all fucked up by the razor. this cannot continue.

ive considered stuff like lhr but theres nowhere nearby that does it
if there arent any other ways of getting rid of facial hair, does anyone know any decent razors i could try?

Start taking finasteride, or better yet, dutasteride. It won't eliminate your facial hair, but it'll make it grow more slowly and less densely, and most importantly it'll save your hairline once you approach your 30s

1. shower
2. finish showering
3. apply shaving soap
4. lightly drag razor across face w/grain
5. do 4 again but at a slightly different angle
6. repeat 5 a few times

Okay, well:
- Make sure that when you shave, the pores are open. In or immediately after a hot shower is good, but make sure the skin on your face has had plenty of recent exposure to hot water.
- You say "shaving soap"; that is an actual thing (solid soap that you work into a lather then apply with a brush) but very few people use that now, so I wonder if you actually meant "shaving cream"? If so, that stuff is nasty. See if you can find some shaving *oil* - that provides lubrication without drying the skin.
- You know to shave with the grain, so that's good. Never go in any other direction, and if the razor is sharp you shouldn't need more than one pass over any patch of skin.
- Go slowly! Don't rush.
- When you're done, rinse everything off and then splash *cold* water on your face to close the pores again.
- Don't use aftershave or cologne. Pat dry with a soft towel, then use a little gentle moisturiser (one with no fragrance).
- Make sure the razor is *sharp*; blunt blades cause irritation.

I haven't had to buy a razor in a while, but in the past I've found Gillette to be a very good brand, and Wilkinson pretty good. You certainly want something where the head pivots so that it stays in good contact with your skin. Change the head/blade fairly often - as I said, blunt blades cause much more irritation than sharp ones.
