Sent out like 300 job applications. Got some interviews that never went anywhere. How to get the job really?
>>
>>34703347
What degree do you have?
>>
>>34703354
Masters in some random STEM
>>
>see application on linkedinferno
>find the company site that made ad
>check their work with us
>answer there
This was the advice I was given by people who went through the pain recently.
>don't bother answering to headhunters they'll just waste your time
This is my experience from trying to get a different job.

Also, if you're just out of university you'll probably have no other option but accept any internship you can find and be a slave for a few months, then maybe you'll have a higher chance of getting a barely half decent job.

How long have you been applying?
>>
61 applications
28 days
4 phone human interviews
1 in-person interview
That, is when world will end.

Really though: Walk in to the actual location, because that 1 interview was the one I got. Apply first, and a few days later walk in and just introduce yourself quickly to the honcho on duty and say you applied, make a little talk but don't keep them. They will be very "wtf" but you're probably the only person who did it. They called me back and said I got the job. This is kinda what I am used to from "the old days" so it didn't seem so crazy to me, but younger people don't understand that once upon a time we filled out paper forms to apply to jobs.

Dude it could take 6+ months for you to land a job with a masters in STEM. STEM is known for that. The higher up you go the longer it takes. Dude I’ve applied to positions and gotten calls for an interview like 4 months later.

>got my first job immediately
>got my second job after a year of searching
just keep applying :)

I'll bet they were all the same, and looked it, so they were looked at as the equivalent of junk mail or spam.

I feel OP's feel. Didn't enjoy it when I was younger.
I'm self-employed now. It's a far better life.
OP, there are jobs out there that people don't think about, that also pay really well. I have an MS and BS in a STEM field. I left STEM years ago to be a carpenter, which I was doing on weekends to help a neighbor. I own a large millwork and woodworking shop now. I write this not to toot my own horn but to note that thinking outside the box has a great deal of value and ALWAYS has benefits. The application process you're describing sounds like punishment from 2010. Good luck, man.

Apply to a job that women can’t do. You are being filtered because you’re a dude, the political winds may have changed but the systems that made getting a degree as a man basically worse than worthless are still in place.

There is nothing better in this world right now than weed, vidya and shitposting.

Just my opinion, but sending resumes will get you nowhere. You need connections. I'm an old anon and 7 of the nine professional jobs I have worked were gotten through connections... people I previously worked for, people I had worked with who worked where I applied, people who knew someone, etc...

But those jobs were gotten that way even though I sent out hundreds of resumes through LinkedIn and Indeed.

If you are going the resume route, just a couple of rules. First, tailor your resume to the job. One-size-fits-all resumes won't work. Look at the requirements in the job posting and make sure your resume/cover letter emphasizes that. For example, if the posting says you will work with a small team, your resume should point out that you worked with several 2-3 person teams.

If possible, avoid applying through LinkedIn or Indeed. If you see a job posting, see if the company has a career page and apply through that. Look through LinkedIn for connections that may shepherd your resume to the right person.

Good luck anon.

It took me hundreds of applications and dozens of interviews to land an entry level IT job. Just the way it is with everything these days. Like how on dating apps you have to swipe through thousands of women to have even the chance of getting a date lol.

Playing weed and smoking videogames gets boring after a decade. Now I smoke and play guitar/read.
>>
>>34703347
How many bribes have you sent? How many kickbacks did you offer?
>>
>>34705049
gay prostitute?
>>
>>34705090
>Guitar
What kind of guitar do you play and what type of music do you play?
>Read
What have you been reading lately?
>>
>>34703347
That should be enough. If you are in a hurry, go get a crappy job on the streets, yo, like picking, serving, washing dishes, slinging tires, cutting grass.
>>
>>34706871
i'd rather be cutting tires
