As a last ditch effort on life you could try to utilize the power of artificial intelligence combined with psychedelics to brainwash the fucking shit out of yourself. Download whatever version of llama or whatever is out there that has no alignment bullshit. Teach it to become your brainwasher and devise some methodology to constantly be talking to it and have it reinforce your new identity. Do this all day as you blast magic mushrooms and become super impressionable. With any luck you could brainwash yourself into having an unshakeable optimisim and belief in yourself. Which could allow you to do anything in life. It probably wouldn't work but there is certainly a thread of logic for why it might work. This is the type of thing I would like to do to myself but I am not quite at a low enough point to attempt it yet.
