Maybe because I am female I know no different but there is nothing special about it. Do you want to dress up and wear makeup? That's not something women do innately, most do it out of pressure and societal norms are the only things stopping men from dolling themselves up. Do you think people will be nicer? Absolutely true if you're pretty but that's also true for handsome men and there are many ways in which unattractive women suffer. I just can't understand it. Whenever I see men say things like this they always detail some sparkly pink fantasy that is so far from the real thing and one that conventionally glosses over the bad parts that I don't think anyone would want to deal with if they didn't have to. Awful things like having your period when you're sweaty on a hot day, being viewed as incapable or having to be home before it's dark if you're out alone in case of the worst.
