Im very likely going to be sentenced to jail time next year. I dont know what to do. am I gonna get raped and stabbed there? will I ever find a job afterwards? should I kms before trial?

>>34706137The best thing you can do is plead guilty, have your lawyer bargain a reduction, then when you're in prison keep your head down and show good behaviour and you may even get out early. If you have a cellmate, figure out if they're talkative or not talkative. If they're talkative, make alliance. If they're not talkative, stay quiet and only speak few words. If you get any hassle from other inmates, don't snitch. If it escalates, ask for solitary. If it cannot be avoided, fight back. This gets you some prison respect for not being a lush over, chances of being left alone are higher. Then just continue good behaviour and wait until release. If there are any job placement programs the prison offers for after prison options, take them. Use the time in prison to pick up a skill or hobby so you come out with more to your life than before you went in.
