I also posted this on /fit/ but maybe here there are more generalized people and advices.I got high blood pressure and heart rate.Took the bulking meme a bit too far. All that fat (and muscle mass) and all that belted squats and deadlifts might have fucked me.Is there a way to reverse it without instantly going on doctor and pills route? I'd rather fucking avoid the medical system if I can. Thing is I have a buddy who had a hemorrhaging stroke (blood vessel in his head literally burst) and how he's half paralyzed and can't even walk to take a shit. It's a very real danger.I am fat, obviously. I lift heavy, obviously. I drink coffee daily. I barely do cardio. I also drink the occasional beer. I sit most of the day except when I go lifting in the afternoon after work. Then I sit again.I do eat healthy home cooked foods from wife and drink a lot of water, but obviously there are things to heavily work on and improve.Overall I just need to know if anyone of you had success with controlling blood pressure and heart rate with diet, exercise and the like. Thanks
>>34706172You should try biking, even if it isn't practical. Going to the park riding your bike to get some cardio in. Hell, even just walking from place to place or in a park is a good start. Whatever the case, cardio is your best bet at losing your accumulated fat.
>>34706172eating more fiber and walking more alleviates pretty much all common modern-born physical maladies that tend to be severe, like lower back pain/high blood pressure/high cholesterol etc given they arent very hereditarysleep as well is just as importantwhole foods are good
>>34706172Stop being fat and sitting all day And stop trying to impress your gay friends at the gym with your fake muscles
>>34706172Here's a wild, off-the-wall idea. Have you considered asking a doctor?
>>34706172>I'd rather fucking avoid the medical systemAvoiding the medical system got you into this problem in the first place. Continuing to avoid it could compound your problems.
>>34706172Just go on a cut.
>>34706172Have you considered rucking? Rucking is probably the best form of cardio for power lifters as you can just add more weight when it gets too easy. All you need is a backpack and anything that's heavy. You could throw some barbells, a plate, some books, a gallon or so of water, anything into the backpack. And then just go for a hike.
>>34706172Do cardio and stop being a fat powershitter and you will turn it around.Kyryakos Grizzly or whatever his name is is meant to be a funny internet meme to laugh at, not someone you actually aspire to be.
