How do I cope with the fact I will never have a wife/gf/kids? How do I be content with that?
find 50 other things to do, hobbies, work, travel and shit, to take your mind off of it. there are plenty of people who have a wife and family yet spend 0 time with them because they dont have the time to even think about them. so functionally if you were in their career situation you would also have 0 time to think about how you dont have a wife or family.the key is to keep yourself always busy. go do a PhD, join an MMA gym, start a band, go swimming at the pool every week. i guarantee you you will not have time to think about that girlfriend shit
The core of contentment, as far as I can tell, is refusing to make romance the single valve for everything you need. Most of what people want from a partner>being known>being touched>mattering to someone>having a witness to your lifeare real needs, and romance is one channel for them, not the only one. Deep friendship, chosen family, being needed by a community or a craft, these carry real weight. Not a totally seamless substitute, but the trap is believing there's one door when there are several.

Why do you ask about coping for something that's your own choice? If you chose to never have a wife/gf/kids and that makes you miserable, then change your choice.
