I have a personal creative project that I work on for my own enjoyment. And while it is all for myself, I find myself a bit saddened that one one cares about it. Not even my girlfriend ever asks how it's going. I always imagined relationships to be as such where the couple works on stuff together, especially on shared creative projects. But reality is very different. I just do my thing alone.I should be happy to have her, but I still feel lonely. The idea of having a girl that matches your autism and she is very enthusiastic about your projects, well, I guess that's just a fantasy.

The problem is that you're looking to other people for something you should have already found within yourself. No one else can complete you or give you a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction. Everyone is on their own when it comes to that.
