Very basic question, but how do you tell if a girl is into you rather than just being good friends?

>>34717295See she was kind of on my social periphery not too long ago, but we've been talking a lot mainly over DMs. She sends me music and stuff, but whenever she expresses interest in hanging out outside of work it's usually with our mutual coworker-friends. I'm not sure if she's too afraid to hint at it, wants me to hint at it, or isn't interested in it at all. I'd have asked her sooner but if she says no then I'll still have to see her at work the next day and it would be kind of weird. I'm kind of at a crossroads as to whether I should scope things out more or go for it.
