i think people at work are talking about me smelling bad but no one has approached me about it. am i just being paranoid or is it probably true?. For the record i shower before work and then when i get back, wear clean clothes everyday and always use deodorant. I think i have a medical condition that makes me smell bad but my doctor, therapist and other close people i ask say it's all in my head. But people have complained about bad smells when I'm around that i can't smell and this has been going on for such a long time now. Should i just ask someone directly at work or is that social suicide?. I can't keep on like this honestly i feel like dying atm
are you the same retard that said he stank an elevator? you sound like you're insane, quit immediately all social media and imageboards and go to a psychiatrist immediately now now now do it now you looney balooney
>>34719895No need to call me retarded :/. What am i supposed to feel like if i do everything's i can to make sure i smell good but still feel like i stink. There's medical conditions that make you smell bad even if you're clean, look it up
>>34719900you're insane, stop searching for ressurance on the internet right now, talk it only to your doctors and trust them
>>34719912Okay if you say so. I only see my doctors like once a month tops and i have to deal with this fear like every day so what am i supposed to do. My doctors could be wrong
>>34719889happened to me too, people would get up and sit away in bus. never managed to understand what was going on, i thought it must be breath, thank god it is gone
>>34719957Did you figure out what caused it and how it went away?
>>34719970no bro, sorry, i suspected breath and did all i could do but nothing worked. my problem is i changed the environment and had no close friends i could ask about it, i was surrounded by retards that wouldn't tell me if i had bird shit on my forehead.luckily it went away after long time, i feel for you bro, it's hell
>>34720001Did you ever consult doctors or ask people about it?
>>34720084yeah, i went to a doctor and just wasted tons of money, also gained permanent pain from her sticking some tube up my nose
>>34720112Did the doctors actually confirm you had a bad smell or anything pike that?
is this another fetish thread? are you a gassy onara fetishist?
>>34720123of course not, they didn't confirm i didn't have it either, i would need to spend thousands of dollars more to get any type of conclusion, this type of problem is ideal for fleecing retards
>>34720151Idk dude maybe you had like a bad anxiety problem and the doctors didn't care and just went along and happily took your money
>>34720202well i didn't really feel anxious, i just found it weird people would get up and go away whenever sat before me, also everyone would hold/rub their noses. up to certain threshold i guess i could write it off as "it's just in my head", it's just random, it happens all the time, but happened to me ALL the time. and whatever, doesn't happen now, so either i fixed it somehow, or the whole world i interact with changed its behavior for some whole other reason
Op here, i was thinking of asking my flatmate for feedback to see if they ever notice anything but I'm not very close with them and people have told me it's a bad idea and could just cause an awkward situation. Should i do it anyway though?
>>34723426STOP SEARCHING FOR REASSURANCE
>>34723432Wtf am i supposed to do then. Who wouldn't want feedback if the thought they stank
>>34723439STOP. SEARCHING. FOR. REASSURANCE.
>>34723441Okay fine I'll try not to
you’re probably sick of something if nothing you’re doing is working.could be diabetes or smth
>>34723444Don't listen to this nigga>>34723441, you need answers. Ask someone you trust, a family member maybe? Also, have you tried smelling yourself or unwashed clothes you've worn? Do you sweat a lot?
>>34723879Who am i supposed to ask tho?. I asked people close to me but they think it's all in my head but other people likecoworkers etc keep making comments
>>34725479If you've already asked this many people you're probably just paranoid. Do your coworkers actually say you smell or are you making assumptions?
Just be honest. Say "hey I think I smell bad right now. Can you give me a heads up if you catch a whiff?"That's what I did because at one point I went from an isolated section of my job to a more crowded part and I ended up getting called to HR for having BO. After the meeting I asked for a co-worker I sort of knew. And we even became more friendly after many months.
>>34726808Also what I did (after spending hundreds on a doctor just to confirm what I knew): I began buying scented soaps and cologne. You might think this stuff is gendered but it's just soap. Grab a "feminine" bottle of body wash and shampoo and use it. Keep the scent consistent. Buy heavily scented stuff to wash your clothes and sheets/blankets. Carry a stick of deoderant WITH you everywhere. You can also change your diet to not sweat or shit as much.
>>34723426Ask them be like "dude do I smell like shit be honest I'm trying to figure shit out"
>>34719889maybe it's a food? I've read that asofetida or fenugreek can alter your body odourAlternatively perhaps your living enviornment is imbued with that scent, rendingI recommend lightly and gently brushing your tongue for 5s when brushing your teeth. It's a great way to reduce mouth odour
