So my old employer is suing me for embezzlement. I left a job in May of 21 and the manager was harassing me for years. Tried to get me fired multiple times. Last year, they said I was going to come back (at the pay rate from 2021) or they would take me to court for embezzlement. I got served today at work. I have evidence of harassment going back to 2021 from when I tried to get PPOs against them and several reports to the indiana Labor Board while I was working for them detailing how I was treated. I am contacting a lawyer, but what are my chances of this being thrown out because there is no evidence of embezzlement, they just say I stole from the company because I quit after they "invested so much money into my training" which is BS.
