I think my coworker is undermining me, i work with her on two seperate projects in one the external guy who worked for us tried to fork over the work to his expensive buddy and called her saying that i am incapable and the project will fail because of me and that i should be fired (she said that) In the subsequent meeting i got angry and called out his mistakes but he denied having said i should be booted. Now on another project the boss asked me for an assessment of the situation and i told her that company B which does the work for us is unprofessional. Then today the boss of that company confronted me and started a fight with me, he specifically mentioned the email i sent only to my boss and my coworker concerning their work. What do? Do i bring it up with my boss? Or should i just quit?
Bring it up with your bosses boss. Most of us assume chain of command is important and shit and it’s actually not. Always go as high up the latter as you can. It does not matter if your immediate superior doesn’t like you, if his boss likes you then you’re getting promoted. I learned this from seeing a retarded dickhole that everyone hated at my job get the big promotion. It was because he has the relationship with the highest level bosses because he would email them complaining about shit like a bitch and was ultimately rewarded for it
