At what point in a sexless relationship do you just cut your losses and break up?Talking about it doesn't help, she just gets angry and tells me it's because x, y and z and that I don't really care about her. When she calms down she says we will do it soon, except we never do. It's been 6 months. Also kind of hypocritical because at the start of the relationship she would sometimes lose her shit if I was too tired to fuck twice a day, now she acts like it's completely unreasonable to expect any sex at all, ever, from my GIRLFRIENDAlso she rejects every single one of my advances. Sometimes she gets turned on from me kissing her neck, but then shuts me down, almost in a "I know what you're trying to do!" sort of way.I legitimately don't even know how to explain this behavior. I went through her phone, she doesn't leave the house and I work from home, so there's no way she's cheating. And neither of us have gotten fat before anyone asks
>>34758780Asap. If you're not giving me what I want in a relationship then be gone. Or cheat. Those are your options cause you're not gonna get any pussy from your "gf"
>>34758780>At what point in a sexless relationship do you just cut your losses and break up?The first moment you realize it.
>>34758780>Sometimes she gets turned on from me kissing her neck, but then shuts me down, almost in a "I know what you're trying to do!" sort of way. She's not wrong, is she? >I went through her phoneUnless it was with her knowledge and permission, that was *not* okay. To address your question: you need to talk to her, in a way that is not even slightly accusatory or critical; say you're not trying to be pushy, but obviously things aren't the way they used to be, something has changed, you just want to know what it is, and if you can help. And do not say shit like this:>now she acts like it's completely unreasonable to expect any sex at all, ever, from my GIRLFRIENDIt *is* unreasonable to *expect* sex. Of course, in a healthy relationship, quite a lot of sex happens. But also, in a healthy relationship, both people have an absolute right to say "no" on any specific occasion. Neither person ever has a right to expect it at any specific moment. Most likely, there is a way forward with this, but it's going to involve seeing a sex therapist together, and/or couples counselling. For that to work, two things have to happen: 1) She has to actually want to try; if she doesn't, there's no probably no hope, and you should indeed be thinking about leaving her. (I guess that's the answer to your question). 2) You need to stop being an entitled prick, and accept that the situation is probably at least partly your fault; stop looking for ways to blame her, and start thinking of this as a problem that the two of you need to work together to solve. Further reading: Google for "Sensate Focus"; it can be highly effective in this kind of situation, but needs to be done under supervision. Also, see: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2025/mar/01/i-felt-like-i-was-his-carer-why-straight-women-in-relationships-lose-interest-in-sex and see if it sounds familiar.
>>34758780You should break up and not even because of the sexlessness but because she gets angry at you for trying to discuss it
>>34758942>>To address your question: you need to talk to her, in a way that is not even slightly accusatory or criticalI do, doesn't matter, she just blows up the moment I bring it up. Just telling her we need to talk is enough to get her angry
>>34758780That’s how it is. You can find one who wants sex until they think they have you then, no. It would be the same, either way. Transcend that bullshit.
>>34758780Sounds like you got together when she was having a manic episode and now she’s not. If you aren’t invested in getting her to be a healthy person that understands how she affects you, cut your losses. Some people can handle that>>34759203Oh shit, well she sounds like an asshole desu. Like, you can’t maintain a healthy relationship without being about to bring up issues. MAYBE bring that up, but if she’s just still mad it’s ultimatum time. “If we can’t talk through our issues it’s over. Would you consider a counselor, actually talking to me, or are we done “Not verbatim though
>>34758942Idk man, she sounds like a bpdemon
>>34758942holy foid cope lmao. bitch isnt handing out pussy for months in a relationship, refuses to talk about it and yet „hes partly to blame“. what a bunch of feminist horsecrap
>>34759617It's no skin off my nose if he breaks up with her, gets involved with another woman, pisses her off in exactly the same way, and ends up in another sexless relationship. I'm just trying to save him some pain. >what a bunch of feminist horsecrapNothing feminist about it, I'm just a guy who understands women better than you do. In the past I've managed to go from a sex drought like OP's back to frequent and enthusiastic sex with more than one woman. But if you guys don't want the benefit of my experience, then I don't give a fuck.
>>34759548>everything i don't like is bpdGrow up
>>34758780>Also kind of hypocritical because at the start of the relationship she would sometimes lose her shit if I was too tired to fuck twice a dayyeah that's not kinda, I'd feel like I'm being treated as a human dildo if I was in that same position again.
>>34759992> gets mad when not receiving sex twice a day> 6 months go by> too tired and irritable to even approach intimacyDo some book learnin’
>>34758942>actually linking goyslop news
Update: problem solved. For posteriority, all of that therapy-speak nonsense was useless. What solved It was squeezing her tits from behind after we went to bed. I actually misinterpreted things, she rubbed her ass against me by complete accident, I grabbed her and she got in the mood. If I followed the "go to couples counseling" advice, im positive we would never fuck again and then break up
>>34758780You keep your options open and monkey branch to another gf
Update: I accidentally kissed her sister. I had been flirting with a cute pool boy, but then i heard someone was coming around the corner. I’m very much in the closet, so i thought “grab the nearest body in a dress” and just went for it.Idk guys.. should i run away and join the gay rodeo?
>>34758780>At what point in a sexless relationship do you just cut your losses and break up? at the point i make the realisation. unless you're in an abysmal group that's cool with not having sex isn't that obvious?
>>34758942Legendary bait. Here's your (You)
>>34758780Honestly OP, i know it's sounds harsh and drastic, but most men should immediately break up after a month of no sex. You need to understand that she'd have constant sex if she felt aroused by you. If thats not the case, just end it. Please trust me on this.
>>34758780Leave. Only way. Anon, if it's been half a year of dating this woman and feeling like you aren't getting your physical needs met, she is failing you and you can't do worse than what you have now. If the roles were reversed, it would be the exact same thing.
>>34758780Why would you torture yourself by being with someone you haven't had sex with in 6 months? Don't punish yourself like that bro. Just think of all the good sex and good people you've been missing out on wasting time with some celibate weirdo. Life's way too short for that. Let her rot by herself dude. Don't let someone who wants to do that make you be miserable with them because they are. Jesus Christ I'd sue her for that if I were you.
>>34758942If a woman needs multiple sessions with a "sex therapist" to be sexually attracted to you, it's over.
>>34768932It's not a question of being attracted, it's a question of feeling happy, comfortable and safe. Female sex drive, as compared to men's, is much less driven by the genitals, and much more by the brain. If she feels unhappy, or angry, or scared, her sex drive will simply shut down, regardless of how attracted to you she would be under better circumstances. This is the point of Sensate Focus: it teaches people to enjoy physical intimacy, touch, and closeness without (initially) having to worry about it turning into actual sex. It's a highly effective treatment for all kinds of sexual problems, including anxiety-induced impotence in men.
>>34758780AsapJust aks yourself. If you weren't getting sex etc. would you really be putting up with her? Most likely the answer would be noSame thing with girls, if you weren't giving him sex, would he be sticking around?
>>34768948It's very simple, if a woman does not have sex with you for 6 months (absent some kind of severe medical condition) it's because she isn't sexually attracted to you. If the prospect of physical intimacy with you causes her to become angry, unhappy or scared and her sex drive "shuts down", it's over for you.
