How does one get over the fear that no one will ever attend their wedding or funeral?

The last time I’ve had guests over at my birthday, that weren’t family, was my 12th. I don’t know what to do to turn my life around and find real friends. I “know” a lot of people and everyone at work is cool with me, though not the same age, but have none to hang out with or take pictures of. I’ve been going to every event, trip or place entirely on my own.

I'll attend your funeral OP :). Just let me know when and where.

See you in the next 60-70 years. I hope proper burials don’t become even more extortionate in the future.

Have you ever actually invited anyone to anything?

Yes, plenty of times, especially with people I’ve shared a mutual interest to reconnect, but rarely do we hang out. I’m never the one to get invited or to be included in a plan.

You make sure people value you in life, you moron. Why the fuck do you think people have families and deep friendships and lovers?

I don't know; I feel greatly undervalued. It's not like I'm a fuckup at work or academics; I've always strived for excellence, but that focus tanked my social life completely, and I can't take those times back. Maybe I would've been happier if I were laid back.

worrying about stuff like this, is a clear sign ur a loser at heart and is a giveaway why no one likes you

fix that retarded mentality otherwise no one will be marrying u to begin with and worry about what u do in ur life instead of trying to please me and others like a faggot
why do u care if no one attended ur funeral LMAO ur gonna be dead and ur worrying about how other men view u? unloved child much?

I have never once thought/cared about who would be at my funeral I won't be there to care. But I have thought about how few people I would have to invite to a wedding and how none of them would be friends they'd all be related to me in some way. More embarrassing than anything else though. Start chatting up potential friends at all those events you go to alone?

What actually happens to isolated people when they die? No friends or family. Does the state just make a death certificate, cremate you, and call it a day?

Yeah its the cheapest.

I hope nobody does attend my funeral. Just throw me in the trash!
>>

I have a patch of dirt we can shove you in. Hope you like sunflowers.

I planned out how I'd like to die, in a way that feels more dignified to me than dying alone and rotting before being rolled into a hole for unclaimed remains. I can at least rot the way I'd want to.

I wanted my bones to be kept but there are all kinds of legalities to the point of impossibility. I guess there would be too much demand if corpses were to be readily available.
>>34768921
People just want to bum rides and borrow money. Love the one you’re with. Even if that’s just you. The system’s rigged that way. Everyone is alone on the inside.

I'm too afraid thinking I'll never have anyone to marry to fear people not attending the wedding.

Look at that squireel outside. Do you see it worried and filled of what ifs? No, you see it grabbing acorns and eatting them and then it goes to the next tree and do the same until it dies. Life is about being in constant progression not holding down waiting for people to show up.

It's unironically easier to rack up friends when you're in a relationship. New people you meet trust you more and have a higher opinion of you if you're in a relationship. Existing friends become people you're excited to occasionally hang out with without your spouse, so the relationship becomes more valued at both ends of it. Not to mention most women will assign you some friends via the spouses of their friends who you'll inevitably be hanging out with on occasion. Those people are usually easy to make friends with because the circumstances you meet in, you're both kind of relieved not to be the only guy around a bunch of squacking women.
