Does life eventually get better? I've tried facing my shyness and making some friends a few times in the last 5 years, but none of them lasted and I ended up alone. Lately I've stopped doing my copes for a couple reasons and I'm not interested enough in fapping to cum this pain away, so what's left is a feeling of sadness and needyness. I'm afraid that things will never get better, or only improve really late. There are people who can't overcome this debilitating shyness for their whole lifes. I'm afriad of the future state of my feelings if that loneliness continue. Whenever I leave each session with mental health professionals, I leave without too much hope that I will manage to change, it seems like something distant. I miss having people to talk to and I'm curious about kissing and having sex. I feel like I'm walking on an infinite desert, one that have no exit, where my sadness slowly sediments. Are these circumstances improvable? Did you manage to change yourselves?
>>34771143>making some friendsIf you are no longer in school or college, realize this is normal. Especially as people age into their 30s, it gets more and more difficult to make friends. Realize what "friends" are. Really just people who want to socialize in order to network with people to improve each other's life somehow. If you can't think about ways you are a benefit to someone else, why would they keep you around as a friend?>Lately I've stopped doing my copes for a couple reasons and I'm not interestedDon't use coping mechanisms. Focus always on improving yourself. Fitness, finances, hobbies, conversational skills. Don't run away from problems, make positive moves.>debilitating shynesseverybody gets nervous around new people or situations. The more confident ones are the ones who've had more experience with it and learned skills to better present themselves in public. You just need to learn more.>I'm curious about kissing and having sexyou won't get any if you are too afraid to learn social networking skills. All the women I've been with have been because I met them through my social networks.>Did you manage to change yourselves? Its up to you. No one else will hold your hand or force you to fix your social skill gaps. No one cares about you. So it is up to you to learn how to talk to people in order to achieve your goals. You can languish like a loser, or actually attempt new things in life and change.
>>34771143You are kind of a drag. I am happy as long as I still have (You).
>>34771143This only serves to demonstrate how ineffective the mental health system is and how it seeks to create a culture of mediocrity and self-pity, in which the “self” becomes the center of a secular religion that prevents any kind of self-criticism or self-reflection and undermines any sense of individual responsibility and social duty that every person needs for personal growth. You don't need Jewish slop to understand things for yourself and find ways to get ahead in life. The culture of therapy and Big Pharma has only served to strip people of character reform through religious faith, replacing it with the idea of “brain chemistry” or “trauma”—which supposedly prevents you from enjoying a good life—and that’s a far cry from the truth. It’s entirely up to you to make radical changes in your life and fulfill those goals you may wish to attain but which your own mundanity prevents you from reaching. Life isn’t easy, and if you continue to belittle yourself in any way—believing that you’re not cut out for social life just because some retard with a medical degree said so—then you'll be nothing more than someone who spends all day whining online and lamenting how awful their social life is.
