There’s a woman at work whom I find quite likeable. She works in a different department, one floor above me. I’d like to get to know her better, but apart from saying ‘Good morning’, ‘Enjoy your meal’ or ‘Have a nice evening’… My office is by the stairwell, so I often see her walking past there. She smiles or gives the peace sign as a greeting. She’s my age and has been there two years longer than me. She shares a two-person office.

I want to be careful, as I don’t want to be the creep at work. Others can have that title.

There you go. There's gotta be a pattern. Keep watching her until you figure it out. Then "accidentally" bump into her on the stairs (walking in the same direction).
