If it "gets easier" after day three then why has it been getting worse even on day fucking six?
>>34774451They were bullshitting you because telling people the truth is discouraging it's gonna suck real hard for 3 weeks at least
>>34774460Fucking christ, if I'd known that I wouldn't have bothered lol. I've gone this far though so I might as well go through it now, at least so I can call people who couldn't quit pussies lol
>>34774451It sucks forever. Feelings are temporary and will go away even if you don’t have a smoke.
>>34774491This response is exactly why they told you that lol. Good luck.
>>34774491Why even bother if you care this little about the outcome
>>34774516What about alcoholism? I'm three days sober and it sucks so bad I wanna cry
>>34774491I hate how you addicts do your drugs/vices and then need to quit you go through the process of getting clean and sober and call it out as a horrible decision you shouldn't have done and all your friends you wouldn't have had without the drugs or the thrillseeking hedonist personality sit around in a circle and call you so brave and throw you a party. But if you were good and had the presence of mind to never do it in the first place, you're just boring and probably have no friends.
>>34774622Even worse than cigs but if you are able to overcome alcoholism you have something to ve very proud of and you should be able to see a better life without alcohol, quitting nicotine doesn’t really change your life that much
>>34774451Because nicotine is the most physically addictive substance known to man.
>>34774622Lucky I have each problem so I reward myself for quitting one by having the other and switch every few weeks with some clean time between.
Alcoholic in recovery currently quitting smoking. The first month is the roughest. The cravings subside after that, but they'll still pop up here and there. Having a support network to commiserate and also celebrate milestones can make it easier if they're people you get along with.
>>34774623It's called redemptionmaxxing.
>>34774623Drugs aren’t that great. Stop being such a jealous square, so much.
>>34774451i'm exactly 2 months in as a today from quitting weed. im experiencing intense cravings
>>34783873what're you gonna do? you gonna cave or indulge in something else?
>>34783918no, i'm unfortunately not going to cave, and i have nothing else to indulge in, which i probably why the cravings are so strong rn. time is so slow but im just waiting atp to go to sleep so it can be somewhat over
