The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.You can choose to be a winner. You can choose to be victorious. You can choose to be the person who may fall seven times, but gets up eight. You can choose to be the person who never gives up.
>>34774795>You can choose to be a winner. You can choose to be victorious. No you can't. If you're win conditions relies on anything that is even slightly outside of your control, winning is not a choice.
>>34774795Just world fallacyYou getting scared of young men realizing the world is specifically set up against them?
>>34774795You can choose to try but that ain't a guarantee you'll win
many circumstances in one's life are outside their control, believing that you have full control of everything that happens in your life is a cognitive distortion: the control fallacy
>choose to win all you gotta do is exercise and eat right and be wealthy enough to afford our more expensive food and go to sleep at least 8 hours and dont be stressed and don't eat too much or you'll get fat and dont eat too little or you'll trigger starvation mode which actually doesnt exist and also it doesnt matter how and when you eat except it does now according to the latest science and also just don't have any food disorders and also you're doing that exercise with the wrongform you're not building muscle you're just gonna hurt yourself and then have to lay there for 6 weeks in pain and also genes dont matter and body/soma types arent real and also if you're too old you're just gonna be fat thats it its just genetics and also pay us $200 to be your trainer which is the physical bro equivalent of a therapist and also none of this will fix your height or face or dick or money or personalitynever give up
>>34774925It’s kind of insane that this narrative is still getting pushed so hard on this site. You can tell it’s some sort of NGO or PAC because it’s so absolutely out of touch. Most people won’t admit to having fallen for the self improoovement psyop but it’s been, what, ten years of that going on? Everybody is acutely fucking aware that they are not in control of literally every aspect of their life and that diet/exercise make you feel better temporarily (which is nice) but ultimately doesn’t fix anything about the fuckass world around you. The idea of cultivating inner control to deal with a bullshit world is valid. The idea that everything will start to work out if you exclusively blame yourself for literally everything that happens is maliciously false.
>>34774795This message doesn't "work" on anyone and nobody anywhere including the people who repeat things like this will tell you they heard an inspirational message and it was the flashpoint for changing their life for the better. Intent by itself is sort of worthless. A large chunk of your life is at the mercy of external forces, most of which are entropic and abusive. That being said you need to behave this way regardless. Your ego and intelligence can rationalize every single life ruining bad behavior and wrong choice if you let it. While malicious external forces do and always will hold considerable sway over your life, you still do have control enough to steer the ship that is you away from the very bad external forces that want to kill you toward, hopefully, better ones or at least less malicious ones. It's sometimes useful to think of yourself as a plant with legs. You can do everything right and be strong and smart but if you're in a crack of concrete instead of soil it's all for nothing, you need to more towards the sun to actually thrive. Will it be sunny all the time? No. Will you find the best soil you need in all possible words? No. But you need to behave in a way that will move you towards a better outcome because the alternative is worse.
