You don’t have to struggle with management of intrusive thoughts or depression in order to be functional.
When you do that you are tricking yourself into accepting it and struggling.

All you have to do is just stop believing that it has a right to exist and that it will happen to you at all, stop believing it will ever come back, stop validating it, realise its not normal, you are not meanr to feel that way ot has no right to exist

I know what im talking about, my intrusive thoughts morphed into 10 years of dp/dr, now i got my feelings and sexdrive back, at one point i decided i can just make it stop instantly and stopped being scared that it would come back, i know its never gonna happen agan, but if i ever dod get depressed it would never get even slightly as bad as it was, those pointless perspectives of pointless bad feelings and intrusive thoughts have no right to exist.

I was given bad advice such as “oh you just have to wait for the bad feelings to pass, theres a reason your feeling that way!” but there was no fucking reason to feel like that for 10 years and wait for it to go away you have to MAKE yourself get better by KNOWING the truth and good of existence.
