How do I stop stressing out over the inevitably of my own death? Knowing I'm going to disappear someday and there's nothing I can do about it makes me feel trapped and anxious. I usually have these thoughts impulsively during daily activities.
>>34782362You were already dead before you were born, eternal oblivion (the great nothingness) is the perfection of peace. I don't think you should worry about things you can't control, and either way when you die you will never feel pain ever so it's good.
>>34782362Death anxiety is a young man's game until you realize the very anxiety and imagined consequence is just a fantasy in your head, death is easy as fuck every single person has done it. Who gives a fuck.
>>34782362think about what you will samsara into, and adjust how you live accordingly so its not a frog poster in the next life
>>34782362Everyone and everything dies. Death is a natural part of life. You don't want to become a zombie. Try to eat healthy, get exercise, and don't stress yourself out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFptt7Cargc
>>34782362I struggle with this, too, anon. In the end, we have no idea what happens. We could all be living in the imagination of a dolphin at seaworld for all we know. What you can do is try to appreciate each day and do small things to make the world a better place than you left it. Easier said than done, but it helps. Remember, as a wise man once said, that the good things are easy to get, and the bad things are easy to endure. If there's a good afterlife waiting for us (which I do hope), then no worries. If there's nothing that happens, then we won't have to worry about it because, well, we won't exist. If there's a bad afterlife, then at least I know I'll be in good company haha. In the end, we will all find out, so you won't be aloneUltimately, it is what you do today that matters, not what happens when you die - even if you fucked up every single day before today. Today, and tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow on.

>>34782362One last thing, reflecting on your death isn't a bad thing. It's okay to feel fear about it. Let yourself be afraid for a few seconds, and then understand it's okay. What is meant to happen in the end will happen, but don't live in sorrow for the fleeting moment, and instead enjoy that you could experience it at all. Tell people you love that you love them, do things you enjoy, and so on. >>34783523what is the sound of one hand clapping?
>>34783545thwack
Kinda cooked but try focusing on what you can do creatively to leave your mark on the world.Though with 7 billion people too many it’ll be hard
>>34783551YOWCH
i personally think getting older, watching the people around you dissappear and feeling your body and mind getting feebler is scarier, atleast when you die you arent around for that
>>34783523Follow the rules.
>>34782362Death doesnt exist.
>>34782362Maybe look at how retarded the faggots look like who try to become immortal
>>34784580>Death doesnt exist. If only, losing so many people and really struggling with the idea that it will be my turn soon is fucking me up. I try to stay in the present moment and practice gratitude but honestly my life is really limited with physical and severe mental health issues. Once your nervous system crashes and your life becomes about managing insomnia and panic attacks the constant reality of the pain and death to come feels like too much to carry. I know healthy people do somehow manage it. I see it in the world and hope that if I can find some peace in my life I will be able to eventually be at peace with death, but when I'm up at 3 am crying and panicking at the horrible impermanence of everything I wonder how so many people are able to rest and embrace the time they're given instead of being overwhelmed by the inability to keep themselves or their loved ones safe. I'm really fucked up anons, I hope I can find my way back but everything feels so hopeless right now.
>>34782362Mortality is what gives life value. If we lived an infinite number of days, any individual day would have no value at all: if we completely wasted it, it wouldn't matter, because there would be an infinite supply of them. But the fact that if you waste a day you'll never get it back, and that's one good day less out of the quite limited number you are going to get - that makes every individual day precious.
