This is just something I feel I've noticed lately but I feel like whenever I speak with attractive women at my customer service job, they have subtle confused reactions to me just doing my job. To clarify this isn't some super corporate job, so rules on interacting with customers are pretty relaxed. It's just that I don't feel I have anything to speak about other than the job. Idk, I also have been told I'm an attractive guy by actually well put together people but I've never thought of myself that way so maybe these women think I'm more of a Chad than I really am?

How are they confused? What are you saying?
>>
>>34782901
I guess it feels like they get confused that I'm not attempting to flirt with them or initiate any further conversation than necessary. I just do what the job requires and keep it friendly. It feels like they start off more flirtatious and then by the end of the interaction subtly are like "why isn't this guy attracted to me" which obviously I am, I just don't want to cause any problems or make anyone uncomfortable.

have you tried asking them out for coffee, a walk, or dinner?
if you don't want to talk about your shit, just ask them questions. people love to talk about themselves. be a good listener.

>but I've never thought of myself that way so maybe these women think I'm more of a Chad than I really am?
Could be. One thing I learned about women over the years is
>if they don't find you attractive and you flirt with them, they get mad
>if they do find you attractive and you don't flirt with them, they get mad
For guys like me, whose looks have oscillated over the years and so we don't really know what we truly rate, we can safely expect to piss women off no matter what we do.

Women don't experience rejection, like at all, so even a soft rejection by a waiter they think is cute has the potential to ruin their mood, which is what you're noticing. It's a bruise to their ego that they aren't used to like men are, so they get kinda shocked and then sulk for a while.

So many of our fellow men devote unbelievable amounts of simp attention to common interactions. I’d assume it’s so normal that women just don’t know how to interpret things when it doesn’t happen. I like animals and when I’m out I sometimes compliment other people’s dogs, both men and women. It isn’t uncommon for women to act a little bewildered when I only ask about the dog and nothing about them, or bother to continue the conversation after my compliment is received and any questions I had are answered.
>your blue merle Aussie is gorgeous. Couldn’t care less about you, ma’am.
Men seem to regard that as common conversation and are pleased I don’t extend the interaction farther than necessary.

I don't want to be the employee hitting on random customers and then they never come back to the business, I have a personal stake in this job.
>>
>>34785480
I make casual conversation sometimes but it's nothing deep.
>>
>>34785488
what outcome are you hoping for? that they ask you? you can still compliment someone without hitting on them. maybe we live in a different cultural region. which part of the world are you from?
>>
>>34785352
That's the opposite of the problem, I don't know how to flirt but these women expect me to and then are confused by me not attempting to. I should add, it's not like these women are flirting with me, at least I think so, it just seems as though they expect me to be 'more' friendly than I am because they are attractive women and I just do my job.

Women don't like neurodivergent men

Lmao I was just thinking about this picture awhile back. The fucked up thing is I'm by no means a virgin but I've always been bad with women. I just lucked into getting laid throughout my life I guess. It's been awhile though.
>>
>>34785525
i think it's okay to compliment the customer. i'm in the us as well. i make a comments if i find something interest. i dont see the problem with it. im not commenting on their assets or anything that would be suggestive, but just if a dress stands out, car, hat. i've found props are the best thing to bring up because they're much less confrontational.
usually it gets a person to open up to you.

for example if you ask someone how their day is first thing, it will always be, "okay" or "good"
if you compliment them, then ask, they'll frequently give a better answer because you showed some level of care.
i think i read it in how to win friends and influence people. i only recommend it because it's a time tested book. you can get it for free on annas archive.

Maybe its less fo a virgin thing and more of a thing that guys do who are super inhibited and never rizzed up a woman of their own accord. Like if you always let the girl do all the work or only flirt when super drunk or sth of course you're not going to be comfortable with it, regardless as to whether you get laid.

Men have declared spiritual jihad on women and it shows as they slowly begin to lose it. This is it anons, the real gender war has begun, not the fake one with countless pronouns that is being shilled everywhere in the media, but the real war between man and woman.
Women are about to learn a harsh lesson.

Don't talk to women, don't help them, don't ask them out, don't have dating apps, don't interact with them. If a woman approaches you be nice and respectful but do not flirt or overtly joke, treat them as an equal man and then leave after the reason for the conversation is over. If a girl comes up to you and flirts kindly turn her down, if she asks you out suddenly say no thank you, don't make up a reason she only has agency because of some external reason not because she likes you. Be vague when talking about your life or weekend plans, anything you do or do with them like hooking up will be picked apart and analyzed by her and her online friends. You are a traitor and not helping anyone if you fall for their tricks.
If men can't display a modicum of power over society, this world and women, then I guess they don't hold much power at all.

Oh for sure. The first girl I ever slept with thought I was cute and I told a friend I thought she was cute at a party. She approached me after he told her what I said.

How am I neurodivergent?

>>34785703
I don't even know what foundation there would be for a deeper connection, I'm just some guy with nothing to offer a woman. I live paycheck to paycheck and I drive an old car. I'm not trying to waste anyone's time.

Flirting is easy and when I do girls reciprocate here in person. Sorry it's hard for you.
>>
>>34786197
I just don't really grasp how it works or what it is. For all intents and purposes it appears as "say the right things at the right times=get laid" from the outside looking in.

For lack of a better metaphor it feels like everyone in the world speaks Chinese to meet girls except me and girls expect me to speak Chinese. I never learned to speak Chinese and have no idea how to learn it so I'm just fumbling through interactions as best I can. Meanwhile women get mad I don't speak Chinese to them and men pity me for not knowing Chinese.

When I was in high school I would have agreed with you, but over time in my 20's I've met a lot of women who don't mind being my friend. I do not know what you are talking about anon. I think you're in a different planet, or that you haven't gone outside enough. Either that or you or your friends scornfully believe in stereotypes like a moron being as closed minded as a door for a man facing his entire life in prison. I'm not saying you need to be as open-minded as a kitchen doorway, but you kind of need to be open-minded.
