Neurodivergent women present differently than men and accordingly don't face the same social stigma. Autistic women are far more likely to possess the ability to brute force through social situations than austic men, because women are raised in a significantly more communicative and open environment. Women with ADHD tend to lean combined/inattentive or have lower movement needs, so they can fidget and mask in less intrusive ways. Part of this is also social conditioning that teaches girls to suppress their own needs or feel shame for those needs, while bots are socially encouraged to stake their own territory. Meanwhile, visibly neurodivergent men are almost always disruptive to the experiences of everyone else. Hyperactivity that requires constant moderation or autism that manifests as unintentional selfishness or outright narcissism. This leads to easy identification and stereotyping. Even men with inattentive-type ADHD were underrepresented in the social conscious until recently, because they generally keep to themselves. It's not a lack of sympathy from society as much as a lack of energy to continue indulging the boys who have held the class back since elementary school. Even so, neurodivergent women are not socially well-adjusted and face frequent bullying by other women. Women with ADHD can pass depending on presentation, but autistic women tend to get pushed into nerdy spaces. I say men and women are different because I'm an old fav who has been watching my kids and nieces and nephews grow up. Girls were much more mature than a boy of comparable age. They were more agreeable and followed instruction better. My daughter at 5 years old was more emotionally mature than my son at 6. Similar patterns in other family kids. We don't have a blank slate. Biology matters.
