Yes but choose carefully. An Engineering degree will take you further than a liberal arts one (unless your a wiz or something). At your age and by the time you graduate you'll have less time to fuck around with finances and retirement planning, and while you shouldn't have trouble competing for jobs necessarily, opportunities for advancement lessen and ageism starts creeping in. These aren't to scare you, just to be mindful of and if you choose a good ROI degree you'll be fine.I am 33 thinking of returning to college for an Engineering degree. I want fuck you money.

They're too old to really change professions. Hearing them complain about old age hurting them, or being poor. That's pain. Real pain. Don't let yourself get too old. You don't have infinite time. 30 is much better than later.
In this economy? No. Maybe back in the 90s it would be considered "too late" by society standards but even fresh out of HS college grads are struggling these days
