A question for the +30 anons: what would you do if you were 23?

Here is a compilation of information I would give to 23yo me. A lot of this I had already manifested, such as lifting weights, wearing sunscreen, not smoking, etc. So some of it is validation - "you're on the right track, don't deviate from this!"

The self-care basics
>wear sunscreen on your face
>don't drink, smoke or do drugs/goynip
>floss weekly, brush twice daily
>get 7-9 hours of sleep
>go to bed at consistent hours
>exercise
>avoid excessive oil, sugar
>avoid unnecessary stress
>don't work a manual labor job

The finances (for Canadians)
>get a questrade account and put everything into the ETFs
>first max your tfsa (VFV), then your rrsp (use normbit's gambit to convert cad to usd, and purchase VTI in usd), then fill up your margin account

The other advice
>practice extreme patience (don't burn bridges; jump to quick, poor, or temporary solutions)
>practice low neuroticism. Don't overthink stuff
>do not let innocent women latch on to you emotionally when you don't have their best interests in mind
>set goals, achieve them, then re-evaluate their meaning. Are they still important? Was their an easier way to accomplish them?
>don't spend time and energy on things that will not benefit you at an equal or fairer exchange
>appreciate perfect sex more
>don't chase women that will make you feel like you're left with nothing afterwards

Try really hard to grasp the compounding effect of education.
Once you reach a certain level, you are a literal god who can do or learn almost anything in your field of expertise.
You read something once, or only half of it, and understand it immediately.
I don't care about college or university. You can learn from books or YouTube.
Together with money, education gives you the freedom to do whatever the fuck you want. You don't have to ask anyone for advice. You will be smarter than ChatGPT.
You don't have to write any job applications because you will be more competent than the guy sitting in front of you.
Focus on your natural talents, as they will give you the highest leverage.

Go all-in on crypto. Quit drinking way earlier. Also take healthy eating seriously way earlier. Stop paying for college classes you won't attend; actually put in the damn work and earn the 4.0 GPA. Keep putting in the effort to learn and grow every day instead of taking shortcuts, in all aspects of your work, whether it's learning to draw, compose music, program, or anything else.

Be better to your loved ones, especially when they're reaching out to you because they very obviously miss you but you don't give them the time of day because you're an immature and selfish piece of crap. There is a time when it's too late to reach back out to them, and it can come sooner than you think :(
>>
>>34831199
Go to a good therapy and really stick to it. Avoid alcohol. Avoid drugs. Avoid borderline women. Realize you are not "broken". Raise your self esteem in a healthy way. Friends who are well off financially and career-wise also can be a negative influence in your life. Maintain contact with people who are drug free. You are now an adult, you dont have to rush into anything if someone is pressuring you.

30, almost 31. I would've learned a trade. Then I would move out of my psychotic dad's house. Then I would've gone to college or uni.

I'm in some insane death grip right now. About to start learning a trade but I don't even know if I'll like it, I'd want an intellectual pursuit in college/uni but I feel too old for that and trauma ruined me, I wouldn't even be able to focus studying "at home" I think

I'll shill it too. It takes as little as 5-15 MINUTES of exposure for your skin to start receiving sun damage. Not only does sun exposure increase aging in the skin but it also results in sun spots (the orange/brown blots in >>34831874). And skin cancer is no joke.

Sunscreen is the most important facet of skincare, ahead of cleansers and moisturizers.

>stop thinking like a victim, and block out losers who encourage you to think like one - the world hasn't conspired against you, it's an inherently difficult place for almost everybody in one way or another - life isn't going to ask you what you want, it's only going to present you with options - accept this and get on with your life as best you can
>live a healthier lifestyle - eat better, exercise more, etc
>do some hobbies and shit that's not in front of a screen
>stay away from 4chan
>doesn't hurt to stay away from social media, too
>do something to work towards getting a well paying job - trade, educated professional, semi-skilled, but well paying worker, doesn't matter - just something to start to get ahead with
>learn to live as cheaply as possible without sacrificing too many of the things you want to do
>build a cash cushion of at least ten thousand dollars for emergencies - more if you want, but realistically you probably wouldn't even need a full 10k
>keep personal debt as low as possible; even avoid it altogether if able
>learn some basics about your country's tax system, and some of the benefits available to you in different circumstances
>start putting money into slow-building, low-risk investments - index funds, retirement funds to a lesser extent, shit like that
>semi-retire some time around mid-late 30s
>any work performed after this point is either to pad out passive income with extra money, or out of purpose or enjoyment rather than obligation
Nobody told me any of this stuff when I was young, and now I'm going to spend the rest of my 30s and probably at least most of my 40s playing catch up. I don't hate boomers, but man they were really terrible at guiding the younger generation on things like this. They thought working for the rest of your life was the answer to everything.

You have to be vain. Make it your life's mission to acquire as much money as possible. To do this, you have to be in good shape (reflects positively in how you are perceived in careers and women), choose a good ROI career, work hard, save and invest. Money is the only way to get women + a good body.

>>34831199
Anything. I would have gone to school for at least some kind of degree, or taken up a trade, anything would have been better than the nothing I did, because I was indecisive, afraid to commit to something I might not like or fail at, afraid of debt or investment with no guarantees, I just coasted for the last decade basically. I worked, I made money, I survived and paid my own way, but I never built a real life for myself, and I'm earning the same now as I did 6 years ago basically with less benefits. I'm ashamed of the life I've made. I'm 31 now, still working a deadend job that I don't enjoy and don't see a future in, my body is in worse shape, and every year the anxiety grows stronger that I'll never amount to anything, all because I was afraid to take chances.

So anons, if you're in your 20s, don't be comfortable. Try things. Fucking travel, take up difficult skilled hobbies, go to school on a longshot, join a trade union and see if you like it. If it doesn't work out, I promise you, sincerely, having tried and failed is so much better than the regret of never having tried at all. Also, take care of your teeth and your body; the choices you make today, you will pay for tenfold in a short number of years. Even if you don't feel like it, you're depressed and neglecting yourself, get the fuck up, shower, brush your teeth, take a walk, eat at least somewhat well, work out a little, be sure to stretch and take care of your joints and back. Once chronic back pain starts it only gets worse.

Most of all, don't get attached to outcomes. Experiences matter more, and trying and failing is valuable all on its own, because experience matters. You'll not only be a more interesting person with more stories to tell, but you'll feel more pride and confidence knowing you gave something a genuine shot. Just don't be like me, getting complacent, lazy and fat working a do-nothing job and letting the days pass by you. Carpe your fucking diems, or live with the regret.

Currently working in Japan, have to work as a part time construction worker. This shit fucking sucks and I have to get up from 4:45 to change clothes, catch a train at 5:20 and be at the company at 6:20. Then a driver will pick us up at whatever fucking time he came, 6:25 or even 7:30, work usually starts at 8am and ends at 16:45~17:00. Not to mention the time it takes to get my ass back to the company to earn the daily payment if the driver stops at his own company. Got home today at 18:30, luckily I only do this shit on Tuesday and Thursday BUT fuck this shit I am never working in a construction company ever again. Too much preparation and very high chance of injury/heat strokes/muscle fatigue at the worst time possible while the older guys, while usually polite and nice, expect you to have their 8-years-veteran strength on your first or second day. BRUTAL in the summer even if you have the fan-attached vest; and god bless you if on today you have to go to the upper floor to help out filling concrete. On my first day the shitty zainichi korean boss put me in a shift on the 15th floor and didn't tell me to rven prepare for anything to avoid heat strokes. Soft hands whatever NEVER WORK IN CONSTRUCTIONS ANONS. And I also land a job in a hotel with a lot of nice people and free snacks so I am planning to quietly ghost the boss's calls and call it quit.

Yeah... vietnamese. Was going to say "does it matter" but oh well fuck it. Needed to get some more money up front.
Anyhow there are only middle aged Japanese in this field, the younger ones are construction inspectors. There are way fewer foreigners in this field than I thought.
For blacks I've heard that they all round up at Kabuki-cho and not anywhere else. I don't think I've ever seen a blackie working in Japan.

I was wondering cus I read this essay about Japan

https://thebaffler.com/salvos/eastern-promises-levi-king

It mentions the enclaves of Vietnamese (80s to present) and Koreans (in the 80s) in the north east part of Toyko (Arakawa). They were separate for work and basically work the underground. It also mentions tourists don't give a fuck nor have the ability to discern any of this.

Your English is great, so I suspected another 2nd/3rd world country. It's very un-white to work construction in another country.

In Taiwan I noticed hard looking philipino men working construction on the Taipei Mall. So the trend does seem to be, bigger guys exploiting the other guys under the guise of "fertility crisis"

I hope you are getting paid better than the jeets at FamilyMart
>>
>>34833692
Why don't you kill yourself now and become an hero?
>>
>>34840090
Thanks for the reply. Honestly, for the situation right now, the type of work that's like enslavement the most is some sort of 特定 job (I do not know the full name since I would never enter it). Depending on the company, but from the people I know:
For hotel cleaners it's something like 1020 yen/hour,, you get a sharehouse to stay with other foreigners (vietnamese) BUT absurdly high price per individual for such a small room. No leaving without notice and gates close at 10pm. Food not paid, no bonus. 8 to 5.
For restaurants workers it's something like 8 hours of official work and another 1-2 hour of overtime with, apparently, no paid overtime hours. Minimal time for resting since restaurants are always crowded... 1100 per hours. And also very high stress working environment with shitty Vietnamese and Chinese managers.
You could avoid all of this if you have enough Japanese and knowledge and register yourself with a Japanese company; but those people I mentioned above will take whatever chances to work in a country with currency of a higher value.
Mine is just a part time job so I do not have to worry about being exploited as much. I can just quit anytime... but being paid by day is a good option that many other places doesnt offer.
On the long-term though, it's always better to get a white collar job. But until that expenses need to be paid. And yes I have also never seen another whites and any manual labor job.
>>
>>34831385
Fucking holy shit all this. I'm 34 and can't tell you how much time I've wasted. Trying to pick up the pieces now, but damn it's hard. In my defense I didn't think I'd live to see 30 but still, no one gives a fuck how often you thought about suicide in your 20s once your past those years. I'd also add getting a degree. I know everybody says "uni is a scam" but I don't have one and I am paying the price for it. Never made more than 45k/year. Can't leave my hometown because I don't have the skillset OR the piece of paper to get a job so I can make enough to support myself elsewhere.
>>
>>34831199
Ah shit, 23 was literally where I fucked things up irreparably. I just came out of a 3 year stint as a NEET by getting back into education for IT, no real plan though, I was just good a compootas. Id also applied for a retail job, which I got accepted for also. I chose the fucking shitty sub-minimum wage job because I thought immediate money was more important. No one advised me that HEY, MAYBE YOUR LAZY ASS COULD DO BOTH?!?!?!

Several retail jobs later I decided to go back to education, IT again. Ended up getting a degree in software engineering by 31 (last year), but the damage was done. Im mentally stuck as a 20 year old, afraid of responsibility and never been laid.

I don't know exactly what I'd have changed but getting an understanding of how the world worked would have been a start. After finishing college, I've been working construction with my brother. Turns out im pretty good at it, since I've always been good with my hands, moneys better than any shitty customer service job I've done. Might have been better to just follow that thread from the start.

My unrealistic idea would be to get better fucking parents, because these assholes fucked everything up for me at every turn. Its a wonder im not a drug dealer murderer on death row right now.

Get a skill you can practice 10-20 minutes a day like guitar, drawing, songwriting, whatever. Something you can comfortably do on your own that you can build up overtime. It's a much better use of time and there's lots of fun stuff you can do with those and you can get more in the future and having competencies like that in 5 years or whatever will be very cool. Reading 30 mins a day is kind of that, anything. If you have a hard time reading get a stack of high variety books (fiction, non fiction, harder/easier a big range) and just sit down and ofrce yourself ot read freely switching between books for 30 minutes straight everday it gets easier very quick.

If you don't live in a great area and aren't connected to where you are/dont have mcuh family around or something do literally anything you can to move to somehwere you could see spending the rest of your life. Something wiht the kind of people ethnically you want to be around, job oppurtunities, social oppurtunities whatever. don't waste your 20s in a place you can't do anything without it being a big hassle if you can avoid it.
>>
>>34842406
oh yeah another one:
Don't try to evaluate what other people are thinkign or how people will feel about what you do. Osamu dazai's no longer human is good about this. If you spend your life trying to be considerate of other people (in terms of mind reading and not wanting to bother them) you have to be willing to be an asshole and make sure you are setting yourself up well, if you don't you will turn into a miserable person.
>>
I'm 31 contrary to most people's belief here. Anyway what would I do? Not fuck up in college like I used to. Take my medication and seek therapy too.
>>
>>34842413
another:
If you have a serious issue get and read books about it, make sure you fix it. So many people talk about having social anxiety but haven't even read a single book about it.

Another;
Write up as comprehensive a life history as possible (super in depth), ask an AI to analyze and point out your issues and things you should work on to improve
Write up something similar with your goals and the things you would like out of life in the future and ask the ai the thing you can do pracitcally to get there.
>>
>>34842420
another:
please god do not take any psychiatric medication or use crazy drugs

Start a business. Start saving money in its own account. Invest in your social connections from a place of self respect. Enjoy your time with women who enjoy time with you, don't over complicate it. Make routine time for family, doesn't need to be a lot. Always wear freshly cleaned clothes if you can. Dont let small things slide, invest in better people early instead. Stay away from hard drugs. Pick a lane of passion/expertise and go all in. Move like every choice matters because they do and they accumulate. Don't sell yourself to someone else for what you can get yourself. Find a way to get there without depending on others, but make good connections.

None of these have to be life ruiners but they can be.
>>
>>34831199

women have power over you because your sexual urge has power over you
you also have strong emotional urge that nobody speaks about - control it as well (dont love who doesnt love you, love is not "greater" the more you accept abuse or suffer for it, no, love is a type of dynamic - a win-win dynamic. If they win but you lose, its not love.)
dont delude yourself into thinking your horniness is love, you are horny, love is a different thing
know what love is for you and be sure you can accept it, can you accept it? being loved? Work on accepting yourself as loveable and valuable
dont chase women and try to impose a dynamic onto them - pick a dynamic you want with them - and see which women fit into it
love is, safe, easy, nice, pleasant, understanding, calm, if it aint that it aint love - forget words, focus on deeds
women who make you feel confused about their intentions towards you are predatorial (sounds scary but they are basically hurt girls and best avoided - do not try to save any woman - they make themself into victims because they see the effect it has on men (attention and bending over backwards)
dont be afraid of pissing women off or making them cry by your behavior - if your stance is righteous - let them cry it out its good for them, never betray yourself out of concern for someone having a tantrum about it. Stand firm in your convictions.
avoid immature women (poor conflict resolution, tantrum throwing) - a mature woman can handle her emotions
know what you want in life - set goals and move towards them

One can write a whole novel (and so did many Vietnamese wrote about why they wanted to leave); for me the working conditions in Japan, even at minimum wages, is way better.
Vietnamese don't work well together, if you've ever read news relating to Viet-on-Viet cases in Japan you would know this. A lot of scamming, lying, cheating and sometimes just bullying in the same workspace. And I'm talking about those in Japan, it's even worse in the homeland. I would never let myself be surrounded with these animals; if you know you know. They might be good and some of them are good; but in general they're just too troublesome to work with and live with.
Ninh Binh was my fathers' hometown. Scenery wise it's the best. Having a quick nap after lunch in the summer is the best; but the young are generally sub-humans (of course, the elders are too, somewhat).
It is tiring at this point to even explain why a Vietnamese doesn't like living with other Vietnamese since there're way too many things I could point out. All you need to know is that these viets here bear their children and raise those children here - that's why even though generally there's an image of japan being a backward first world country unfriendly to women and all that stupid propaganda, these women and men still flock here every single year - even though it's decreasing and I hope they do go away, all of them - for the better quality of life shit.
It takes the viet goverment about 15 years to build a mere 12km train in Hanoi, have you heard? That's how inefficient Vietnamese are. But then I am afraid that this is going into a /int/ post.

One could say a lot about the Japanese but at the very least, the public servants here politely treat me like I am a human - something that I can never expect from my own kin.

I'm only 31. But if I could go back to when I was 23, I'd tell myself to work hard on working with languages, because its the career you can build with your skills, and go outside more often and to not be afraid of anything, because the fear and anxiety makes things look bigger than they actually are.

Also go to the gym 5 days a week, get a nutritionist and a dermatologist. Don't be afraid.

If I were 23 right now I’d be watching my money and savings like a hawk and here’s why
>create problem: economic depression, rapid inflation, limited economic opportunities for young men in particular
>introduce solution: military service
There won’t be a draft in the US for a number of reasons but they absolutely are going to twist your arm financially until you hopefully give in. Have savings. Have opportunities and a network. Don’t become poor in the next few years. Being poor for a short period of your twenties can be “not a big deal” if you’re in the right time but we are not right now. Don’t become poor. You don’t have to trillionaire grindset or constantly side hustle: just create and entrench as much security for yourself as you can.

Don't orbit girls or try to be "friends first". If you're going to date someone there will be instant sparks and you have a small window of time to make her yours. Don't wait around for months/years waiting for her to change her mind or for a breakup that might never happen. It would be a waste of time even if the friend to boyfriend promotion was common.

Get into outdoors stuff. It's great for mental health and meeting new people.

Keep an open mind. If a friend wants to see a movie and it doesn't sound interesting, be a bro and go anyways. Take advantage of opportunities to do trips. Audit a course that looks fun or is in something you feel you're weak in. That sort of thing becomes rarer as you get older and your friends get busy with their careers, suffer from health issues, and have kids.

I don't really have any good career advice. IT used to be great for white or Asian dudes with some basic brainpower that forgave a bit of sperginess but it's been ruined by AI and Pajeets. Trades will fuck up your body. The most prestigious jobs like doctor will dominate all your time. If I had a do-over I'd find the cushiest IT or sales gig possible and buy bitcoins.

yes.
also i am 31 now.
so i give my take:
if you were raised by a single mother, this means you got an off start. this is statistics. statistics is not the individual and it is up to you to rise above norms.
women raise their sons into men they would never date themselfes.
most women can not tell you what they like in men.
magick does work and science is almost disclosing it to the public. wait a few more years. that is: conciousness has an effect on reality. if i were to give my 23 year old self an advice... i would say to take it easy and trust in your own powers. life always finds a way.
if i were to give my 23 year old self advice.... man... so much has happened...
i would say i lived 3 lifes. at least.
i would recommend sigils, stick with them, go ahead with reading and studying anastasia by wladimir megre, also check out the falun dafa and then come to your own conclusions. these are highly advanced spiritual systems.
man... something i am currently doing as i was always afraid of the failure of society... go into demeter farming. the best farming there is. then you can decide where you live on the planet earth. pawns are called farmers in german. and pawns in chess can become queen and any other figure. so you best know how to farm proper. then you are safe wherever.
also you yourself have to take responsibility for anything that hits you. be it your fault, or someone elses' does not matter. common wisdom, i guess.
also another piece of advice: do not talk to doctors, if you are not forced to. and as they are basically part of a cult which denies conciousness as much as possible (proven by now by german youtuber Mythen Metzger in one of his quoted studies), you are best off giving them right. telling them anything they want to hear as support of their world view. they can't have it that 10+ years of studies goes down the drain. worth shit. doctors are not scientists but craftsman applieing what they learned. rode-memorization.
>>
>>34844429
samefagging.
cont.
craftsmen who know their craft, that is. you can respect them for what they are; and most did not learn science at university but obedience.

any other advice...
my 23 year old self.
worry is a waste of imagination.
be realistic: plan a miracle.
prayer changes everything.
what is, is. what's not, is possible. only that which is not, is possible.
man... if i were to give someone else advice on how to find truth... besides my 23 yo me doing just fine...
go into logics and use it to deduct the most probable reason why someone does what he does. that is... in politics. from there you will find all the answers yourself. but... the window of opportunity to find truth in the age of AI... is really basically... well... in the offline archives, probably. if you dig deep, as people used to. nowadays all is commercialized... even conspiracy theories... not fought against but flooded with useless informations that sound like the real deal...
there is a lot...
i can recommend the youtube channel truthstream media, and bright insight. also for conciousness works i can recommend brian scott, frederick dodson, and mindandmagick.

un-white to work construction in another country...
there were many part time workers from eastern europe who fled from the communist regimes that failed over in austria.
they basically are the easy and cheap maintainance workers over here. also germany. and if you want to make money as a german, you go to swiss. and the swiss consider germans like we consider slavs. so... slav women go cleaning. and slav men go construction working. usually. weird world... also we speak broken german to them, so they fail further. we do it out of compassion, though. so they can grasp what we mean. instead of talking good but simple german. we use broken german. not me. i hate these idiots who do this. now the turkish children here speak nothing. anyways... since the second world war "ended", germany and the western whites entered decline.
and i need to start being silent about these things because truth is not always considered a virtue.

The problem with this is if tomorrow I woke up at 20 and was facing the same issues, I wouldn't do that much differently. If I woke up as a 10 year old, I'd still wouldn't want to go to school and sit for hours. The longer I thought about it, and I thought a lot
>your genes, where and when you are born, circumstances are set
>there is only so much you can change in the course of your life
Take the vietnam guy in the thread, he can write in English, and works abroad, that is already an improvement in his starter roll of dice. But he is not an ivy league trust fund lawyer freshman in New York, getting the suck from models every night. Neither am I. They will never be a poorfag vegetable seller in a third world country, and a congolese kid will never be the next Steve Jobs. It's how it is. There are outliers sure, but we all tend to focus on that, those who made it, 1 of 100.000, and forget the 99.999.

tldr Try to be the best version of you, make the most of what you are given, considering your starter stats. Reach smaller realistic goals first, then go further - and don't beat up yourself on your deathbed if you are not a top banker executive.

your bones change throughout your life, by your mid 20s, you completely lack any remnant of youth, by 30 you start to look old, by 35 there's some remnant of adulthood, by 40 you're completely middle aged.
The bones of a 40 and 20 year old are not the same. Furthermore, your eyes and nose grow throughout your life, so even if you always use sunscreen, you'll just look like an guy who spent his life underground.

The brutal black pill is that the same communitive shame that the japs still upholds and which the viets abandoned is what will determine if your people be considered total savages or well-mannered. Wherever I go, I will always be reminded that my people (which me myself do not hold dearly in the first place, though) are the reason why I might be mistreated by these japs - but I just have to try to prove to them that I am different from these niggers.
Not to say that viets are born savages; back when there's a monarch in charge we know that they have that same bowing when greeting and politeness when conversing and all; it's just that communism ruins everything.
But you just have to try to make your life better. Man is a bridge and not a goal.
The 69 years old geezer that I'm working with told me, on a random day: "Make a lot of money, will you. Save up money, so you would never have to return to this job." Man it hits different when you got told that by a real human being. Makes you feel like a human too, once in a while... Get out there and talk to more people, that's my other advice; 4chan could only guide you until a certain point.

This was me at 23. More than a decade ago.

There's a lot more "noise" nowadays. But even back then I was annoyed at the "noise" of those days, and gave the biggest middle finger to it all that I could muster. If my 23 y.o. circumstances were teleported to today, I'd probably be even more insane and rebellious... Back then I could at least pretend the world might be a nice place. After the Trump era, COVID, and now an inevitable AI world takeover, I probably would've SHORT-SIGHTEDLY gotten into extreme sports social influencer shit, or, gotten into drugs like many of my peers (and died along with them). I'm extremely angry about how the world is today, but I'm successful enough that I can still enjoy things. Back then I had basically nothing, no help, and no future.

If nothing changed except I'm simply 23 years old again, I'd grow my hair out and get as strong as possible, stop drinking milk (acne), and follow a similar path to Westin Champlin with a youtube channel doing crazy shit with cars. Youtube is such a fucking easy path to success if you're risky (in a calculated way) and level-headed. I'd be juggling multiple Youtube channels and probably not be successful with any of them. My first videos would've been the car in pic related. Even at my current age I'd go that route with full gusto if I wasn't successful in my career. In fact I might go that route for fun someday just to see if I could make it.
>>

>>

>>
>>34831199
I wouldve told my 23 year old self to start working out more. Being a fat dude kinda fucking sucks. Nothing looks good on you, girls dont look at you like that, etc.

Start talking to more people, especially girls, since college is gonna be the last time you will ever meet this many people that share similar interests to you, all in one place, every single day. After that, its anywhere from 30$ to a couple hundred just to go to events that *might* have nerd girls that would be into you.

Develop an appreciation for normie topics/music/hobbies, anything normies like to do. Nothing is worse than finding out you cant even relate to 90% of the people you are around. Let me tell you, that is social suicide for a black dude. A black dude with the mannerisms and personality of every single Michael Cera role combined is not good.
>>
>>34853599
I'm 23 and going through what you described. I've cut off my high school friends, didn't go to college, and now I work a full-time job where I have to pretend that I am a functioning adult—despite the fact that I'm constantly ruminating about how lonely I am and how much I hate my life. I have already committed what you described as 'social suicide,' but I can't really bring myself to actually kill myself. It's a dire existence, to be honest.
>>
>>34853662
That's rough bro. If I were in your shoes, I'd try to reconnect with some old HS friends that still sort of like you, just for the sake of having some socialilzation. or atleast find a co worker that youre kinda cool with. That'd be my first step to wherever.

Any concrete answer I could give would involve prepping for stuff that nobody predicted could happen, like Covid or AI turning the whole economy on its head.
The best advice I can give you is not to stress about every decision you make, even the ones that feel super important. Use your judgment to make the best decision you can, but don't stress when things don't go your way for factors outside your control. When you're older, you'll be much happier if you can learn to forgive your younger self. You're doing the best you can, and only in hindsight can you see that you might have made the wrong choices.
>>
>>34853662
Ruminating is awful to do to yourself and I am guilty of the same. I would strongly suggest going to a community college if that's an option for you, you don't have to know what you want, but actively choosing to strike a different path instead of just spending all of your shift hating your life has done WONDERS for me.
