I know I am going to get laughed at for being a fucking retard but I have had severe ringing in my ears for 3 days straight that only seems to temporarily go away after I sleep which is very hard to do with this anyways and can only happen when I am completely exhausted. The thing that I think might have contributed to this is for a while I became paranoid about things falling in my ears or bugs being in my ears and I would counterintuitively dig my fingers around my ears to ensure nothing was in them. Also, it seemed to start happening after I heard the lawnmower guy outside my house maybe messing with the water faucet and I heard a loud squeak after, and my fridge began making a hissing noise. The first time I noticed the ringing it almost sounded as if there was something "depressurizing" in my brain like an air mattress deflating. Now it just makes a loud never-ending EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE that literally will not go away. I have even tried that trick where you tap the back of your skull and it doesn't do anything for me. I am already miserable enough as is and this will probably potentially be what sends me over the edge because now I cannot even escape into my internal world and have my thoughts as company. My waifu will be drowned out by this retarded shrill ringing.I know that I should probably try to go to a doctor but I have not left my house in years and I am very afraid to now because I am a disheveled autistic retard and I also don't even know if I can trust a doctor to not fuck it up even further anyways.
>>34835003Watch videos, movies and series and look how people interact. Then look at the mirror and talk to your reflection
>>34835003>I know that I should probably try to go to a doctorCorrect. Look, I know it's hard. I get it, I do. But this could be a symptom of something really serious going on with your ears, and if you don't do something about it *now* the ringing may become permanent, or it may even be the first step towards losing your hearing. Please go to a doctor.
>>34835038How long do you think it will take for it to become permanent? It is becoming so bad that I am thinking of just getting it over with and trying but it feels like all of my instincts just pull me to push it further back and ignore it even though I realize that is retarded. I live in a really shitty area too and that does not help. I know I am being a coward but I just feel that I should try to maybe wait it out. It feels difficult to even type these posts because my thoughts are being muffled by the ringing.>>34835020I suppose I will try this but I don't know if it will help much.
>>34835003>The thing that I think might have contributed to this is for a while I became paranoid about things falling in my ears or bugs being in my ears and I would counterintuitively dig my fingers around my ears to ensure nothing was in themUnlikely to be the cause unless you were being really forceful, your fingers are too big to touch your eardrums>after I heard the lawnmower guy outside my house maybe messing with the water faucet and I heard a loud squeak after, and my fridge began making a hissing noise>I have not left my house in years and I am very afraid to now because I am a disheveled autistic retard and I also don't even know if I can trust a doctor to not fuck it up even further anyways.I think you've probably got high blood pressure from poor fitness, which is being exacerbated by your anxiety and paranoia. The only immediate solution is to see a doctor. They'll check your heart first, if they don't find anything wrong with it (unlikely) then you should ask for a referral to an Ear Nose and Throat specialist to check your ears for damage.
>>34835003literally, how do you not leave a house for years in a row? don't you go shopping or whatever?Anyway, tinnitus originates in the brain. there are pills that can make it go away. Take a taxi to the doctor, then taxi back, you can make it
>>34835054>How long do you think it will take for it to become permanent?A couple of days.
Whenever I go into my car (with no electronics), there is NO RINGING. As soon as I exit, and go back into the house, it comes back. I cup my hands over my ears in the car, no ringing. I do that in my house, there is ringing. Right now it is a pulsating up and down high pitched noise.
>>34835003So tinnitus
Probably have built up earwax from not cleaning them regularly. Take ear drops for 4 or more days and the earwax will come out. Maybe go to a doctor who’ll flush it out. Either way if its just something you have then your brain will learn to tune it out anyways.
