looking for anons who have it/had it or know somebody who did

>did you operate it?
>were there any side effects?
>are you happy with your decision?

I'm also interested in general relation of how is life, how does it change, how is the sex life, etc.
asking cause gf has it and they will cut her womb next month

Anon...
Do you even know what cancer is?

Think of it as a parasite that bypasses all of the bodily defenses. As a special characteristic, it's immortal, it doesn't age and doesn't go away with time. Every moment it remains in your body it reproduces a new seed. A woman called Henrietta Lacks died in the 50s from cervical cancer. Someone took some of it's cells and fed it, and the cells are still alive 70 years after the woman's death.

In other words, you don't make any "decision", because the choice is whether to die within the next 5 years or maybe survive. You operate or you die. If they caught it early, just nabbing the cervix solves it and you still can have children, with help because chance of miscarriage increases. If they catch it late they must remove the entire uterus, maybe ovaries and literally give her poison to hope the cancer dies quicker than her, and that poison kills the most active cells like hair, blood cells and gut cells, so side effects in that period are becoming temporarily bald, dying from infection and dying from vomiting and shitting blood.

And if you never took medical attention, the cancer cells will spread all over her body, begin to grow like golf balls in her liver, lungs, brain, kidneys. Needless to say she will die in pain if you don't treat it.

What worries me is that you naively ask as if you never went to highschool, your gf knows what's up but you haven't talked to her. Her life is at risk and she needs someone to support her to face the fear of death and fear of harmful treatments, who knows whatever sacrifice is a step against death. Get informed anon, geez.

i don't need cures for cancer, all i need is to talk to somebody who's actually had it, to understand how is one's life affected.
The medical part of the issue is taken care of as well as it was possible

I mean, let's answer your questions so you can see how they sound.

>did you operate it?
>"Yes, It hasn't come back in X years"
>"Yes, but biopsy said cells were undifferentiated already so now I'm in chemo"
>"No, Lol. Why am I coughing blood?"

>were there any side effects?
>"Yeah, I had to get a cerclage to get pregnant"
>"Yeah, I got a histero-oophorectomy so I am barren and need to take estrogen replacement therapy"
>"None lmao, Dunno why I get seizures tho"

>are you happy with your decision?
>"Yeah, I survived"
>"Yeah, I don't wanna die and I will keep fighting"
>"No. Life feels like shit but I can't do anything about it anymore, I'm dying."

Well there you have it. Sorry for sounding like an asshole. Maybe you want reassurance after all, maybe you want to talk about your situation.

yeah, well, she is stage 0 and it was I who managed to talk her into actually going to hospital with it.
I see, you're in much more serious condition. Sorry, anon, it must suck.
seems like she can still be actually cured though.
we actively don't want children, so this is not an issue. I just want to understand how woman's life changes without a uterus, since i obviously can't even properly imagine how it feels to have one in the first place
>>
>>34840180
Well anon, that's why I told you maybe you need to talk with her a lot more. Stage 0 means it's still encapsulated, depending on the size they scoop a bit of cervix, or they nab the cervix and leave alone the uterus, so the intervention may not need to be a radical one.

And my dad used to be a gynecologyst. He used to say to his patients there are only three uses for the uterus: to have babies, to bleed and to get cancer. Someone with religious ideas will regret she will not be "complete" for the day of resurrection. Some may regret she cannot have children and be offered in vitro fertilization through a surrogate mother.

The uterus itself doesn't have sensory innervation, you don't feel that gut just like you don't feel all your organs. I don't think women feel their cervix, but what every person with cancer feels is fear of dying, anxiety to get news that the thing is gone, and the most unlucky, doubt whether to suffer the effects of chemo or to resign themselves to die.

Good luck anon. Most likely everything will go fine for your girlfriend, she needs your strength, so stay informed and act fast always.

>did you operate it?
>are you happy with your decision?
What the actual FUCK do you think you're asking here? There is no decision to make. You have the surgery, or you have a 100% chance of dying. That's not a choice.

>>34840180
>she is stage 0
Then shut up. At that point you just point a laser at it, zap a few cells, and that's the end of it. No discernible after-effects at all. (Other than not dying).

Why aren't you and she vaccinated against HPV, by the way?

There's the advice that you want, and then there's the advice that you need.

Has she tried the new approaches with ivermectin, fenbendazole, etc? Apparentky they are quite effective for many people.
>>
>>34841304
nah, she tried changing her diet.
then i came about and did whatever the fuck i could and now she is getting an actual surgery, which is seriously good enough all things considered.
Somehow i'm getting all the rage for that though i genuinely don't get why
