I quit gaming because I was a fat NEET loser with no friends. I’ve since become very extroverted, fit, and in college with a job. But I realized that the position I was in was actually not that far from most people IRL. Most people do not go outside. They flake, they ghost and have no social skills or desire to actually meet. I want to socialize but I can’t find anyone to do it with. My closest friends are all gamers but gamers don’t go outside, they just stick to the same friend group they’ve had since childhood. The only exception is my one friend who got into rock climbing and made tons of friends. I tried the same thing but I never made any friends in my gym. I’m considering just going back to gaming to fill the void of boredom
>>34840418Stop calling them losers and you'll make more friends.
>>34840449I'm not OP but, how, they are loosers. Most peeps don't want anything else besides money or bitches
>>34840449Are you schizophrenic? I didn’t call anyone a loser except myself. Thanks for the bump tho
>>34840418your friend had the right idea. find other social circles to join. it doesn't just have to be a coworker or at a bar. join a larp event, chess club, hiking, plant identification, dancing, yoga, oddfellows society, book club, airsoft/paintball, reenactment, sca there's even group events made for meeting people or dating on places like meetup or facebook hangouts.don't give up yet, and yes the majority of people doing it online are afraid to leave their cave whether it's for dating/gaming.
>>34840418You at least have some friends... I have literally 0 (zero) friends...
>>34840516well do you wanna be friends. i have none, not even online friends. unless relatives count but i don't think they count for most ppl.
>>34841181I live in Poland though.
>>34840516>picis that what therapy is like in the US? No wonder people have such a negative opinion on it. Mine says that doing that is the dumbest shit you can do
>>34840418Just talk to people more. It's like dating, getting a job, anything else. The more you put yourself out there the better. I moved to a new apartment building and met two of my now closest friends because they were my neighbors and after seeing them in passing a few times I introduced myself.
>>34844472we do not have commie blocks here. i dont think ive ever even seen my neighbors
>>34840418Meet new people until you find some overlap with somebodies
>>34840516wtf when did murdoch chan say that
