How do I not work too hard at my next job?

I had a job that I somewhat found joy in. It was just assembling widgets in a factory, but I liked using the tools. Some days I kinda looked forward to work. I worked my ass off, WAY harder then I should have. Gave them all the overtime they wanted. Only to be fired because someone else fucked up and they needed a fall guy.

How do I slack off hardcore at my next job without getting fired? I'm likely to find another factory gig because thats all my autistic ass has ever done.

What are the tricks to finding out how hard you can slack off at a job?

watch other coworkers to find the right level of not giving a shit.
if you work too hard at these places, other people will get mad at you for trying to set a standard
if you work too slow, a manager may point it out. so you want the management type that's fat and doesn't care too much. try to be buddies with these people
