Only sport I ever cared about is gymnastics but I’m too old for tumbling gyms. They’re also almost exclusively populated by women and gay men. Need a community that’s actually good for my age group (26). Willing to try anything (ex. Martial art, dance). My only exceptions are traditional sports like Basketball or Soccer because I’ve never really fit in with the type of people that play those

>>34843919Just look up for sports clubs with 'senior' (i.e adult) beginner classes. If you live in a huge city you probably have tons for any kind of sport, but I live in a medium sized one and the offering for adults getting started is quite minimal. So many sports clubs only cater to children or to people that used to be competitive children at it.Racquet sports are always a good option, or not very impactful stuff like beach volleyball
Easiest is to be a regular at a bar. It sucks that just going to the gym almost never translates to making friends. Everyone wears headphones and shit. My boomer dad has a bunch of friends he meets at planet fitness lol
