I started talking to this girl when I started uni on Monday, I was going to speak to her today, but she was talking to another guy. I watched them since I walked the same route (she goes to a class, while I go home). Body language appeared casual, nothing apparently romantic about it, but this is really my only chance in a day to talk to her and I want to ask for a phone number (I have a natural advantage, since I finished my graduation project and she is working on hers for next year). She also sits with a empty next to her seat in class, which is a clue too.

What should my next move be? My next chance is likely Friday, though I briefly saw her when I was going home yesterday, I was crossing a street and did not want to change directions in the middle of a street (it would seem awkward and unnatural). I wish not to rush things, but I have broken the ice and I want to do it again.

How do I best position myself to be able to speak to her again after my last class? Tomorrow during class change as well as on Friday. All advice is welcome and thank you for your time.

do you have a map of the route too with the blueprints to her chair?
just ask her out retard.
compliment something she is wearing, ask how her day is. if any questions spawn from either of those points, ask them, then ask if she wants to go for coffee sometime.
if you're too afraid to compliment her, make up a question about school, like where a classroom is or what's for homework.

I have the questions in line (I will ask what her project is and then ask if we could trade phone numbers afterwards), the goal is to plan out timing is to when it is socially appropriate or not.

That is what I need help with, how awkward is it to stop someone and talk to them while walking in a different direction? I would preface with excuse me [her name] and said that I meant to have asked her the last time we spoke on the subject and then say that I would like to continue speaking to her, but I have to get going, and would she mind if we traded phone numbers.

If this makes sense, that is.

You should ask for her number so you can continue your conversation via text.
If she says no, you shot your shot and you're done with her. Just ignore and move on.
If she says yes, talk a little more, tell her you'd like to ask her out on a date and see what she says.
Good luck.

>i have broken the ice and i want to do it again
you've spoken before? so it should be natural to speak to them again.
you're going to be nervous no matter what. it's natural to stop someone in the street and ask a question. you're acting like it is, but it's not. people did this before cell phones and google and they still do it today. overly planning this out as you are is what is going to make it seem awkward because you're making up retarded rules in your head. i remember another anon with a similar problem was telling me the woman might call the police if they simply talked to them.
>but i have to get going, and would she mind if we traded phone numbers
just ask her out for coffee. it's a way to feel each other out in a social setting. it's gonna appear strange if you stop someone to ask a question and also say you have to go, can i have your number.
if you approach her, there is some part of her that is going to suspect you like her. there's nothing wrong with this and a police report is not going to be filed for it.
if she's that type, then she's doing you a favor by letting you know, so you can keep your distance from her.
you just have to accept some things aren't going to go to plan. you'll be nervous, and might say something stupid, but just do it or you'll be trapped in hentai heaven for the next century.
if you need to calm down before it happens use a nicotine patch and try box breathing.

Thanks, I was thinking of pizza instead of coffee since there is no coffee shop at Uni, but there is a pizza place.

You have made me realize that perhaps I am being my own worst enemy. Thank you.

Will do, thank you. Only about three hours until I do. Wish me luck.
