my gf's mom is threatening my gf if she leaves and moves out, she will be off the will and dead to her. We both are trying to move out of state and we can afford it, but her mother insists on her living here in her house until the day she dies. I told my gf that is a very selfish and narcissistic thing of her mom to pull. It pretty much isn't fair that her mom was able to live her life, and my gf has to rot and waste her prime doing nothing all day at home. Her mother refuses to do outdoor activates, complains about politics all day, fights with my gf because she isn't living some girl boss 6 figure life, and tries to basically control every other aspect of her life. I love my gf and she has been super loyal and amazing for me, I really don't want to lose her over something like this. I understand it really isn't my place to interject, because this is a family matter after all. I would just like any advice on how to help my gf solve this situation as peaceful as possible.

OP here. I spoke to her again after she had another argument with her mom that lead to them not talking all day as usual. My gf's mental health is getting to the point where she doesn't "know" what to do even though I pretty much said what >>34846821 said to her. She's really hellbent on this house and fears being "poor" with no options if shit hit the fan. I think she is over thinking things and I did tell her a life of peace and being "poor" is better than a life of misery in a McMansion with no one in it to keep you company. Basically she be turning into her mom growing old and miserable by herself.
