What do you do when you have a big heart but you're also full of anger. They are two very powerful emotions but you can only choose one, and if you don't choose then the tension will tear you apart. It seems like it's easy to let the anger win but it's hard to let love win. And the more you try the more tired you get and the harder it becomes. To love is to let go but why is just letting go so god damn hard?
>>34848491Love doesn't pay the bills
>>34848498I just want the anger to go away but it feels like it's in my DNA and it won't ever go away no matter how hard I try and it makes it hard to function sometimes
>>34848508You're behavior patterns are locked in by seven years old. If you're angry all the time, you're fucked and nothing can ever change. I've tried every kind of therapy and pill on planet fucking earth and nothing ever changed. God picks favorites and you're not it.
>>34848538So what's the play? Been seriously considering packing my shit and going somewhere to be alone for a while to calm down then get factory job on night shift and try to avoid dealing with people as much as possible. I've been saving my money for this for the last 3 years just don't want to make a decision out of anger
>>34848554you need to find an outlet for your anger.you have pent up energy that isn't just going to expire bottled up.it's uncomfortable to be around people like you, and alone time isn't the solution.you need to find something physical to do to let it out. your body is trying to tell you this and you're not listening to it.
>>34848571>you need to find something physical to do to let it outI work manual labor 40 hours a week and I even started skateboarding on the weekends just to get outside and get even more exercise. My knees are starting to hurt from my physical exertion and yet I'm still angry. I don't need an outlet, I need a life changing realization
>>34848584i think there's a lot you're not telling us. who are you angry at? what did you do to fuck it up, and why is it their fault?
>>34848596>who are you angry at?Myself mostly because of a combination of abandonment issues from a young age and just unfortunate genetics. >what did you do to fuck it upI don't feel like I've done anything wrong, I'm just a victim of coircumstance >why is it their fault? It's my fault for being born this way and not having the god damn balls to deal with it
>>34848538You can change if you spend 3 years olunbroken streak of good vibes and zero suffering.
>>34848498neither does anger kek
>>34848640Say that to the cartel
>>34848491Anger comes from resentment. Resentment comes from hurt that was witnessed but not acknowledged. Did someone hurt you and not care that they did?
>>34848538That's absolutely wrong. Everyone can change, it's only a matter of practice and effort. If you haven't changed for the better it's only because you don't want to be better.
>>34848491Love isn't an emotion, it's the abnegation of emotion for the sake of a principle. Or in other words, it's the setting aside of what you want and what you feel for the sake of doing right because it is right. If you're struggling with anger, it's most likely because you haven't yet had the realization that rationality and love are one in the same. I'd recommend spending some time every day meditating on the irrationality of anger. Seneca's 'On Anger' would be a good place to start if you aren't sure why anger is irrational and self-defeating.
>>34848491Well if you're angry you must be angry at something so go fix it so there's nothing to be angry at
