Friends, parties, social experiences, sexual experiences with women my age, all the things a normal, developing brain needs. I wasted all 4 years of high school and college hiding from everyone on my computer, now my chances are gone. People my age are getting married, I have no outlets to even meet women or make friends. My life is over, I wasted it. Every day is the same, I work, come home and rot. I wasted my life.
You are mourning the loss of a theoretical relationship with some college whore when there’s probably a cutie at the book store waiting for a guy like you to chat with herI went to parties when I was younger and they’re overrated, just an excuse to drink as much alcohol as possible and pass out puking in your friend’s bed, and if you’re lucky you can get a blumpkin from a nasty slut before you pass out in your own vomit. Parties are not a place for high-IQ people to find relationships. I would argue even college is a bad place to find quality women, as evidenced by all the single women with college degrees
>>34852885I didn't start going out and having friends until I was like 26 lol. If anything it was more fun partying in my late 20s
Look on the bright side, no more school means you actually have time to socialize. Work sucks but you don't get homework, go do something fun that involves socializing.

>>34852894You minimize those experiences but what hurts the most is not being able to have the opportunity to learn from it.When people don't know how to disable work, they start valuing things only by productivity. Yearning for those experiences causes the ambivalence of feeling less competent than others and misvaluing the worth of your work. If only you had the chance to realize they are shit, you would have the certainty to say they're shit and the value that comes with being certain of your path. But that's not the case, and nobody helps in that avenue that is the root of the problem.
>>34852897The problem of work is, legit people just focus on working from here on. They stop making time for friends or take free time, because now every choice has the consequence of pay cut or workplace politics consequence.Coworkers are in different stages of life, with different priorities. You're there lost, being emotionally undeveloped so your priorities are not even the same as someone your age.If you live in a shithole, infrastructure issues like traffic, extreme economic disparity, makes you stay trapped in a ghetto where there are no clubs and people are always moody at worst and apathetic at best, while places with rich, sane people are gated to invitation only.Personally I was attending japanese classes, there were only autistic introverts there. There wasn't enough people for the next level so I have to wait 2 months to resume. Meanwhile I am a NEET, my work competence is forgotten, and even if I worked I would be underpaid and overworked. I feel absolutely trapped and personal ideas of pride and perfectionism I cling on to aren't helping me to have options open, an economy or any way out. I am rotting.

Damn, are you me from 2001? Be a late bloomer. Change. Do new things and try new things. Change jobs or get a shitty 2nd job doing something odd. If you want things to be different, do different things. You don't need to fake being anything you are not, but you can try new things and see what life has for you. Growth happens by accident at times.
