I am slow. I know I am slow. Mentally but also in my movement.

This makes me both unpopular among my colleagues because I am slowing them down and of course inconvenient from the perspective of management.

I get told to just be faster but if I try I just end up hurting myself by bumping into things/stumbling/scraping against corners and causing errors in my tasks.

This fact has gotten me... well not quite fired but my contract has not been renewed because of my poor performance after an apprenticeship + the half year they give everyone.

I suspect this will keep happening and ruin my resume long therm because working a lot of places for a short time (especially with gaps because I am not quitting myself to do a new job) makes it either obvious nobody wants me or makes me look flakey

How do I make sure I still get to eat long therm even though I make for a terrible wagie?

Anything diagnosed? If yes, then you're allowed to request reasonable accommodation and if the employer refuses you contact ADA

Autism and ADHD but both as a child and I need a current finding for the paperwork where I live to get something similar and currently struggle to find a psychiatrist for that. I don't think I am likely to be able to tick enough boxes to get anything substantial unfortunately

Your mere presence in the labor force is an impediment to the exploitation of labor by capitalists. Thank you for your martyrdom.

Accidental malicious compliance

You can change the timings and remove jobs from the resume
Then pick a job where speed is less of an issue, maybe something more reliability or social facing idk

Social is plain hopeless. I was thinking to move into some kind of lab job I have had factory jobs in chemical and candy manufacturing so far and I think if i speacialize into the niche between them I might get away with something like quality assurance or product development which would likely involve more working alone in that nobody would be having to slow down to meet my pace.

Lab jobs are about speed. Look into writing or research.

Aren't writing and research extremely tough to get into?
