Even though I got my license years ago, I am an objectively terrible driver

I’ve gotten beeped at maybe at least once a week since 2018, what are some small, but steady tips I can take to improve? I’m 35 so reflexes aren’t as sharp, and I will feel a bit slow if I need to take lessons

I really don't think there's anything you can do except practise, practise, practise. You might find it helpful to go to an empty car park (parking lot) at night when there's no one there and practice fine manoeuvring - parallel parking, etc. Rope in a couple of friends to drive around on bicycles to give you moving objects to keep track of, maybe.

Using the excuse that you are 35 instead of just admitting you're a woman lmao.

Also you don't really need good reflexes to be a good driver? It's more of being careful of your surroundings and driving defensively.

It's clear that you have no clue what you're actually talking about. In fact you're probably indian where they give out licenses out for free

Irrelevant. People who beep are assholes.

Most community colleges and some private companies offer what is known as a professional driver's course. It would teach you advanced driving techniques. It should be noted that this is distinct from a defensive driving course, which a specialized training program designed to teach motorists advanced hazard recognition, risk reduction, and crash-prevention techniques.

Doing that actually benefits you. Depending on your insurance carrier you can get lower rates through a program, and from my time at least working damage claims, we tended to favor our insureds who had taken that course, all other factors considered. It can benefit you to take that course.

Just follow the road rules? And you should just drive slow to minimise the severity of your mistakes
