I made a date with a woman which is set for Tuesday morning. We met on Hinge and quickly had a very easy conversation where we found we have a lot of similar taste in music and humor. It turned out however that there were drawbacks to our connection:

1. she lives two hours away (but we are meeting in between so 1 hour drive this time)
2. she has a 4 year old child

We are both 31 years old, so its not like its hard for me to find single women without children and I don't have any particular trouble finding matches or dates. However, its extremely uncommon for me to find someone with whom I actually have good text chemistry and she has actually good taste in things I value.

So pretty much my question is whether I should cancel and if all this is really worth it. I would hate to let her down, especially since our chats have been so good, but I don't really see anything coming from this even if we have amazing in person chemistry. I just don't really have time due to my career to drive hours every weekend. But I hate to say goodbye to a potentially decent fit for me. I dont know what to do

just go. you're not committing the rest of your life to her. you really don't get a better scope on what someone is like until you meet them->live with them. if the experience is poor, you'll have something to go on, or remember, for the next time to assess if it's worth your time.
the kid, parenting, etc will be a big can of worms for the future that will inevitably be part of the relationship. you'll just have to assess that later. for now, see if the chemistry holds in person.

If your the breadwinner just convince her to move in with you or something???
Its not like she wants to drive 2 hours or whatever either. It shouldn't be that hard.

Single mothers make the best lovers. I say this from experience. And as a bonus, if you hit it off with the kid she'll stick with you for life.

You could make more kids with her. Just get more context on why the previous didn't work out, maybe something wrong with her
