Have you ever experienced a humiliating and deeply offensive situation? How do you handle such moments?I have been through many humiliating situations where I was deeply offended; I am Catholic and tend to be more passive regarding this kind of treatment, but I feel distressed whenever I think about these things.

>>34858203>humiliating and deeply offensive situation?like what?it depends on who is around you and if you respect them.if it's someone you trust, then it's fine to show some emotion to try to work through itif it's friends, you trade insults back with themif it's neither friends and people you don't respect, give them absolutely nothing. no energy. for the latter two, it is best to grow a thick skin which takes some time but goes away with age and understanding the context as to why people act certain ways.
>>34858203I simply do not care. What other people think about me doesn't matter, >they like me.I don't care.>they dislike me.I don't care.>they love/hate etc, etc.I don't care.If its humiliating thats because you're a loser that depends on emotional validation from others. You should ask yourself,Why do I care, why am I letting them affect me.If you care, that's your fault, it doesn't matter what someone else is doing to you, no matter how awful, its your emotions under your control. No one is responsible for your emotions and no one is making you care about what they have to say except yourself.Take responsibility.
>>34858203>I have been through many humiliating situations where I was deeply offendedWhat are you actually talking about? I ask because I'm 56, was raised catholic and I can't think of something deeply humiliating happening to me, outside of the normal growing up shit.
