Literally just go for it. I've turned down so much sex and friendship possibilities because I wanted to be a "good" person. Just fucking go for it, dude. Don't touch alcohol or drugs.

Oh and also get off 4chan while you can
>>34859040>dietbe strict on your diet. yeah its gay, but the like 7 corporations that control 80% of what we eat are poison merchants.cut out high fructose corn syrup, sugar, enhanced wheat flour, seed oils, and any reprocessed food. they're all poisons. people 100 years back will look back in shock at what we ingested.read food labels. those poisons are in everything.>teethtake care of it now or you will start to suffer major problems in 10 years.>exorcisealso gay but at some point your body will start to fail. like your teeth you will gain major repercussions for lacking muscle and relying on your bones for everything. goes without saying but don't become fat.>drugsdon't become reliant on them. this applies to all addictions but if you can't self-control on something you need to cut it out. applies for shopping, gambling, drugs, video games, social...>mediasocial media is garbage. just limit it if you can. they're a massive waste of time.>video gamesmake sure any game you play you can get a good fun session in 30 minutes. if you're playing something that is annoying you, just quit it. you will suck at call of duty when 14 year olds injected with monsters destroy you in a few years.>risksyou're young. take risks when you are young. mistakes are going to be inevitable. it's better you try as much as possible now before you have responsibilities and a taxed body.your early years will define the rest of your life. figure out what you want to try now and give them a shot. seasonal jobs, bikepacking, pacific crest trail, joining military whatever.>baldingthis one cripples some people. don't use a cope cut when it starts. consider a dht blocker like pumpkin seed oil or finasteride for synthetic (when it starts happening)
You have to go against the world to grow up. It is gonna be one of the hardest things that is thrown on you. You will feel like you are being emotionally crushed, but when you get through it you will see who really is your friend and not.
>>34859040Make a career plan if you don't already have one, and start making steps towards that ASAPWork experience > formal education (coming from someone who pursuing graduate school)Don't drink and drive (yes ik this is obvious but at some point you will be tempted)Make time for other people whenever possible (Friends, family, and peers.)Inconvenience yourself, take time out of your day to help others, volunteer, be an active part of your community and making friends with good people will be a lot easierKeep close friends who align with your morals and treat the people around them well, don't just make friends with people who have the lifestyle you want or make good company Do hobbies that align with your career if you want that bit of advantage Do not start smoking, I am a smoker and it is awfulTry to eat the best you can and make exercise apart of your daily routine
>>34859040>just turned 18 and realised i have absolutely no fucking idea what im doing lolI'm 56 and I'll let you in on a secret : few people do, especially when they are that young. Just go and live. Don't get tied up in to many details. Don't make permanent life changing decisions. (Examples being pregnancy, mortgages, dept, injuries, legal troubles.) Always have an exit strategy. Be open to new things. Try everything once (except for incest and folk dancing). In short : go out and live life, don't want for life to happen to you.
>>34859040I find it hard to believe that you really want advice for your future because /adv/ is not about asking for advice. Its for ranting to 4Chan about your problems so you can feel validated. And about feeling self important by giving irrelevant anecdotes or telling people to do things they themselves would never actually do. But I will try anyways. You are going to start to realize that, things will not work out for you. You are not going to get anywhere in life. You won't work your way up, and there isn't a way out of this situation. You may have even heard stories of how people became English teachers by fleeing to third world countries. But that doesn't work anymore, visa's are stricter and even in the worst of countries the bare minimum is a bachelor's degree a teaching certificate and experience. It doesnt really matter where you look, you will slowly start to come to terms with the fact that all the pathways a normal person has to living a half decent life are shrinking more and more every day.You might think that, your best bet would be to chase your dreams. But if you believed the advice 99% people tell you for that dream, you will fail, because those people are just parroting the same bad advice they were told without ever thinking it was wrong.Maybe, just maybe, you do succeed, you create a commendable work of art, a valuable service or product. Only for it to be discarded in a sea of ai slop.I'm not going to tell you its impossible or that you won't succeed, but the despair upon realizing all your hard work was for nothing is not worth the comfort of a false hope. The only advice I have for you is to do whatever you want. Spend the rest of your life however you please. Whatever that means, you chances of making it far are slim to none regardless so you might as well have fun with it while you can.
>>34859040it doesnt really matter what i wish i knew at 18 to help you because at that point the world wasn't like it is now. you're fucked, I'm fucked, we're all fucked and nothing's going to get better. it doesn't matter what career you choose it'll be gone in a few years anyway. money won't matter when society collapses and one world CBDC takes its place. if you didn't already understand all this you likely took the covid shot, and are already lost.
honestly nothing, no amount of advice can compare to learn from a situation you've actually lived through
I wish I would have known how much of a difference going to therapy would have had in my life. Though on the other hand I'm not sure if I was mature enough back then to really get anything out of it back then
I wish I got my autism and ADHD diagnosed back then. Could have started therapy, medication, work with it you know. I could have actually lived in my 20s instead of starting to get my shit together at almost 30yo.
