If you blow off your classes with C's and D's not learning anything yes. If you learn what you study to apply to real world to get your dream career no.

if it helps you with a job you want
if you want the easy/cheap path look up CLEP and DANTES in the US. they offer tests that if you get a passing percentile you get all 3 credits.
i got a years worth of credits in a month once by power studying 2 days and taking the test, rinse repeat. you can knock out math and other shit you learned in high school that way and just focus on the electronics engineering classes.
