I've always been fond of Anglo-Germanic civilization, such as the arts they produced and the beautiful blonde and redhair women (I've been an avid metalhead for 10 years, and who has a better metal culture than Germans/Nordics?). Whenever I see those "nordicuck vs medchad" posts online I used to simply scoff at them as simply seething by Nafris, Latinx, Desis, etc. Like yeah, Ancient Greece and Rome were superior at some point, but eventually the German barbarians became more advanced than them.But upon researching Spanish history from Spanish places like Pax Hispanica, I wonder if those "medchad vs nordicuck" posters have a good point. No really, a lot of what I've heard about Spain from my American schools is far different than what I actually reviewed; I used to think of them as other Western Europeans who just invaded and pillaged like the French, British, and Dutch. But they seemed to have a genuinely morally superior past.For example, the Spanish Inquisition actually was an early system that promoted fair trials, due process, and punishments that weren't cruel or unusual, and they were genuinely skeptical of witchcraft, which was contrary to the Northern/Central Europeans who burnt thousands of women.And their imperialist history is actually more benevolent than the other European powers. For example, they actually miscegnated and implemented laws of equal treatment for Native Americans. They built universities, hospitals, and started the first global vaccine expedition. Contrary to the Anglos who practiced extermination and segregation. Not to mention their military feats like having the better Counter-Armada and that one Blas de Lezo dude who mogged the English real bad, saving Latin America from Anglo domination.

It's a very high trust society and I love it this way. Even those who would judge you for not being normal would not continue to press the issue if you seem to like to be abnormal, so, it's just a very nice chill approach to things, not really a negative in my eyes.NL is a high trust society, with beautiful friendly and accepting people. But we're also not pushovers. In the grand scheme of things NL has not been affected by immigration as badly as it's neighbors due to the people waking up early.Good society.The question about my own friend circle or foreigners is a great question that many people ask. Personally I'm very accepting and know many that are very accepting. But I also know of many people who, although they perfectly know English and easily switch to it, will mostly speak Dutch if other Dutch speaking people are in the group. So I'd really recommend that despite everyone being so easy going with English and foreigners, you learn the language if you want to truly get into friend groups and feel accepted. The fact that you're a foreigner won't matter if you speak Dutch, unless you're brownDating is difficult with Dutch girls without the language. Also many dudes are tall blond and handsome. If you're unlucky to be a foreigner Dutch that's a downside BUT, again, language is the main barrier. If you can speak Dutch, and understand the "doe normaal" (be normal) culture, and speak in a logical sound and accepting way then it's good. The people here just like to dance, eat food, listen to funny music, and enjoy their mid weather. There are no existential wars.If u want to hear about an issue - if a Dutch person has a major diff with u u might never be a close friend, but you're always accepted as an acquaintance, & I think that's fair.
