I rent a room in a house with multiple roommates and an offsite landlord. I've lived here for a couple years now and whenever someone moves out, it seems like the onus falls on me to clean out the fridge and cupboards of the food they leave behind. The landlord never seem to ask anyone else to help and doesn't just do the job themselves. I'm sick of it at this point and don't want to do it anymore, initially I was alright with helping out but now I'm getting annoyed they seem to expect this of me, it's not my responsibility to clean up stuff other tenants leave behind. So this most recent time I said I can't, but they keep fucking badgering me about it. I've already said no twice, now they're asking about it again. I don't know what else to say at this point. Should I ignore their texts? Should I just cave and do it so I don't get on my landlord's bad side?
